>Switch 2 resolution, improved models, and FPS bumps are only for Jamboree TV mode, selecting regular Jamboree mode gives you no improvements whatsoever despite the title being "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition PLUS Jamboree TV" implying Jamboree TV is separate and the base Jamboree would have improvements as well
>tag team mode returns but is locked to Jamboree TV, Switch1fags are cucked from the best way to experience Jamboree as it removes time consuming Jamboree buddies completely
>pro rules is oddly not in Jamboree TV and locked to base Jamboree, so it cannot be played with Switch 2 improvements
>if you're playing online with friends who have cameras on in Jamboree TV, reaction stickers are disabled and cannot be used (at first I thought they couldn't be used at all
until I played a no camera online game with a friend)
>Bowser Live and Carnival Coaster cannot be played online for no reason
>Bowser Live only has 3 mic and 3 camera minigames, all it has to offer is experienced in 10 minutes, less if you have no camera
>Bowser Live is three rounds but only the last round matters; you can lose the first two but still win just by shouting loudly in the last round
>Carnival Coaster is just a worse River Survival, scores aren't saved and there's no unlocks from playing it
>it is very easy to get confused with which cursor is yours in mouse minigames; unlike in past parties where your cursor is themed to your character (gloved hand for plumbers, monke hand for DK, yoshi's hand for yoshi) everyone's cursor is a gloved hand with your character icon next to it
>no new boards or characters added
>can't play all the minigames in Free Play
>GameShare mode is locked to just Wiggler board with only 30 minigames playable when Mario Party DS did Download Play over a decade ago with no restrictions
I really wish more people talked about this absolutely baffling update but sadly less than a dozen people bought it and only one thread was made for it when it released.
