What always stuck in my mind was how in Cata the Horde just raped and pillaged the old world and gained many zones while the Alliance lost every single fight.
Then in MoP the Horde got that really cool 5.3 questline with Baine and Vol'jin about the rebellion against Garrosh, where as the Alliance got, and this is not an exageration, a questline about chasing around a robot squirrel.
