Modern video games do all they can to take the onus of winning/losing off of the individual. In fighting games there is no way to sugarcoat it when you lose and people's egos have become fragile compared to the past where you were still having fun even if you are losing.

As in, stop fucking replying to shit you don't like / don't want to see. Full stop. Just scroll past it / hide it / move on to threads that you want. Now the problem is of course that newfags will always respond to bait so this is an uphill battle but seriously the only reason any of the stuff you listed "flourishes" on /v/ is because people respond and reply to them every fucking time.

Don't respond to anything you don't want to see even if you are trying to point out the issue like "Oh, you posted this yesterday, GTFO". Don't respond to them at all and they will all go away.
