Thatβs why itβs simply best to keep interactions generic. Effusive people like Spags who wear their heart on their sleeve often just make situations awkward. Itβs like how sometimes you feel a surge of affection for someone, but if you look at your like your boss or whatever and tell them βYouβre really the best boss in the world, youβre the whole reason I work here now and the reason Iβll never leaveβ out of nowhere itβs just a little much. Spags genuinely feels Burrow is the second best in the league and couldnβt control the compulsion to say so, but all he managed to do was sound patronizing and unintentionally rub salt in the wound. In this world, shutting the fuck up and keeping your feelings to yourself is the best course of action every time. Always needing to express yourself is a dangerous effeminacy.

Brady - 7
Peyton - 5
Mahomes - 5
Rodgers - 2
Brees - 1
So it seems Brady has led the best offenses, had the highest statistical per game peak and 2nd highest per drop back statistical peak. He also has by far the best longevity. Obvious choice for the best QB here.
I think his accomplishments overshadow his play too heavily. His resume is so overwhelming that his play takes a literal backseat, despite it being clearly a top 2 regular season peak in NFL history, and an easy argument for #1.
The rangz, super bowls, post-season, longevity, volume etc. are on top of that. He has 7 rings because he is the best, not he is the best because he has 7 rings.

Caleb's floor is Jay Cutler or someone like that, definitely not a bust but failing to live up to all his college hype in a dysfunctional organization.
His rookie season with a dogshit coaching staff and porous oline still produced over 3,500 yds, 20 TDs and 6 INTs with an 87.8 passer rating. That would have been one of Cutler's top 5 statistical seasons and the best TD:INT ratio of his career.
Now imagine what he's gonna do with a playcaller like Ben Johnson and an improved oline. He's still only 23!
Didn't even realize the Bears were getting a new stadium. Just saw its indoors. Fucking WHY? One more outdoor stadium lost. Why the FUCK must we lose kino shitty weather football?

Forget all the glazing the Bears receiving corps got last off season. Keenan was slow as shit last year, his routes were sloppy tho he still found gaps on 3rd down fairly well. Rome was a bit of a disappointment in his rookie season, there was a lot of disconnect with Caleb but overall not a bad rookie year, just not quite what you expect from a guy who could have been the top WR in other drafts. And DJ started the year with the worst route assignments I've ever seen, they never sent him more than 10 yards down field. He was phoning it in by week 10. Kmet had a decent year but he's overrated as a pass catcher and that's why they drafted Loveland.
Last year was a disaster all around and it's not fair to blame a rookie QB for playing ultra conservative at the behest of his retarded HC whose game plan each week was trying to keep the other team under 20 points and win the turnover battle... With a #1 overall pick QB on the roster. Eberflus was just an absolute brain dead moron and his end game management involved praying not to lose.
They lost SEVEN games by 1 score last year! They blew FOUR games on game ending plays, one on that retarded defensive breakdown in Washington and another against GB on a blocked FG where they had enough time to run an additional play but gayberflus was so afraid of fumbling he put his manlet kicker out there on 3rd down. People forget the Commanders were given a free 13 yard play with 12 seconds left because eberflus thought it was better to burn time. That put them in hail Mary range. After the game he literally said that play didn't matter, how fucking stupid do you need to be to think that giving your opponent the opportunity to throw a hail Mary doesn't matter?
If eberflus wasn't such a gigantic pussy retard they would have won at least 8 games and we'd be talking about the bears as a team that's close to making the playoffs.

no one, just watch the sport and wait until you find yourself gravitating towards a single team after growing to love/hate different franchises. whats the point in becoming a "fan" overnight when you dont really care about the team that much? just get to grips with the game and have fun being neutral while it lasts, i reckon this is the last season ill have fun before i eventually give in to my love for the bears

The spike you see is Brady getting prime Randy Moss, the same Moss who made a black backup QB lead the league in TDs (39) before he teamed up with Brady.
Why don't you compare Mahomes and Brady's first 7 seasons or even better compare what both did at similar ages. Mahomes mogs him in virtually everything at age 29 and it's not particularly close.
Surely Brady came back down to earth when Randy Moss left the Patriots right?

Dumbass they protected Gayleb and gave him easy throws all year long especially early on. He doesnβt throw with anticipation and waits for throws to be open and thatβs why he doesnβt throw a lot of picks, but misses tons of βNFL openβ throws. Heβs always going to be mid and everyone is going to talk about what could have been, when in reality thatβs what he is. βHe just needs an elite oline, four number 1 receivers,Walter Payton to hand off to, and an elite playcaller and then we can judge him fairlyβ.

hahahahaha. Again with passer rating. Who ever created that stat in the 60s poisoned NFL discourse for the next century. Passer rating is anti-knowledge. The weights (and caps!) are arbitrary, and doesn't even take into account sacks. Nevermind info like field position, time on the clock, quality of defense etc. This drive, a legendary drive had a passer rating of 66 Lol

If you asked anons who the 2nd best QB of this era was they'd say Josh Allen. Mahomes' passer rating of 92 in the last 2 seasons is Josh Allen's career average.
His passer rating is tied with Brady's best for his 20s. Even at his worst he still beats Allen, Burrow, and Lamar at their best in the playoffs. Not to mention he went to 3 straight owls and won 2 of them. What are we talking about here.

We all know that Mark Davis is still a star struck little billionaire baby boy who is a players owner first. So Tom Brady gets to play action figures with Mark Davis's toybox and Mark Davis gets to be best friends with the king of the playground.

This is the most zoomer thing I've ever read. Patriots were despised. They had spygate, deflate gate, and hundreds of controveries like Aarron Hermendez. Belichick was hostile to fans, players, and media meanwhile Reid is a lovable grandpa. Mahomes is humble and nice, Brady was a sociopath who yelled at team mates, coaches, and refs on a weekly basis. Skip Bayless even coined the term pyscho tom.

I know the through seven seasons discussion is your favorite, but weβre talking all-time QBs. You donβt get to dissect the careers into isolated segments. That is a plus for Mahomes, because he has more to play to overtake them, but it works against him in the here and now, because he hasnβt played as much as the other 3 guys who are already retired. Peyton won 5 MVPs and has two seasons equivalent to Mahomesβs 2018. He got blown out in one SB while Mahomes has been blown out in 2. Any way you dice it, Peytonβs loss to the 09 Saints and another legendary QB in Drew Brees isnβt as bad as either the Bucs or Eagles SB losses Mahomes had.

If we're doing "count the rings". Mahomes has 3 and Peyton has 2. If we're doing count the MVPs, Mahomes has 5 and Peyton has 6. If we're just counting wins, Mahomes already has the 2nd most playoff wins of all time.
>He got blown out in one SB while Mahomes has been blown out in 2.
This is a silly argument. Montana, Brady, and Peyton got blown out in wildcard rounds. A Superbowl blowout will never be worse than being blown out in a divisional round against an inferior team.
I think if Mahomes retired today the only people you could rank above him are Brady and Montana and even the Montana argument would be close seeing how Mahomes has more playoff wins and pass TDs than Montana and just as much MVPs before turning 30, and he never missed a championship round.

valid points but that didn't stop people for cheering against teams like the rams, eagles or seahawks in the super bowl. I constantly remember people complaining like "wow the NFC got the one team into the super bowl that will actually make me cheer for new england" and I don't see that as much with the chiefs despite the fact 49ers and eagles have been the two most hate-watched NFC teams after the cowboys. This is true as well but again people who rate Bo Nix like myself aren't arguing that he didn't have a good defence, O line or coaching staff. That stuff is obvious. What people like myself have argued is that the weapons Nix had to throw to were fairly shit compared to the other rookie QBs. Anybody would take DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze and Cole Kmet over Courtland Sutton, Devaughn Vele, Marvin Mims and Adam Trautman. Drake Maye is the one who truly got his rookie season butchered not Caleb Williams. He had no chance with what the Patriots had in terms of both coaching and players around him

That's because the Chiefs are bullying their era in a way we've never seen before. No team has hosted the conference championships 5 times in a row and been to 5 Superbowls and won 3 of them in this short period of time.
You probably won't believe this but even some Chiefs fans were getting Superbowl fatigue. We're tired of winning and need a break.

I disagree. Mahomes had an aura of invincibility about him. Up until that point he had only lost 3 playoff games in the last 7 years (one of those losses being a 50-50 cointoss in overtime). It would be foolish to pick against him even if the stats showed the contrary. Burrow's entire legacy was being the only active QB to beat Mahomes.

Who they picked in the 2022 bowl is more accurate of what they actually thought. Again, the Chiefs bootyblasting the Eagles in the 2022 bowl probably skewed their judgement for the 2024 bowl.

Also if the refs didn't throw this piss weak flag the Eagles would've gotten the ball back down 3 with 1:50 left to play. Yea he tugged the jersey I'm not blind what I'm saying is that's a piss weak call at the end of the game when the ball was thrown miles over his head. It basically sealed the game. Chiefs get away with way worse holding on offence than that but on 3rd and 8 at the end of a Superbowl the refs suddenly started caring about the rules again? The Chiefs could've definitely won fair and square but the refs knew not giving the Eagles any time on their last series was what Goodell wanted

My bias is showing? Nigger I've been watching the Chiefs O line get away with holding for years and I've watched Mahomes foul bait for years. When a team is clearly better there's nothing the refs can do to effect the outcome but in close games they absolutely can control the outcome. Holding on Bradberry there was a piss weak call and you claiming the Chiefs blew them out is revisionist history. It's that simple

Fucking get over yourself, the Chiefs were on the receiving end of being the most penalized team in Super Bowl history, are only 3-2 in their attempts at the big game and you're still seething about a hold a team that you only hate watch made, and you only hate watch them because THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL

It's crazy to me that people still pretend it wasn't a factor. The Eagles had 70 sacks that season. Despite being healthy up front, they were barely able to pressure Mahomes. Now, I think a part of it is how much holding the Cheifs get away with, but still, the field was definitely a factor.

Anybody who thinks it will ever be in "the script" for the Cowboys to make it to the Owl as long as Goodell is in charge doesn't know what they're talking about. Goodell fucking despises Dallas. One reason for this is that he's a Giants fanboy because John Mara is one of his mentors and helped him climb the ranks in the league office when he was starting out. Another reason is he's still pissed at Jerry for the scam he tried to pull when Dallas hosted the Super Bowl in 2011, when Jerry tried to sell seats in Jerryworld that didn't actually exist.
By the way, this is why the Cowboys will sometimes be called for penalties you've never heard of. At least once a season some bizarre penalty from deep in the rulebook will be called on Dallas specificially to fuck them over, and that's because the refs have orders from Goodell to screw over the Cowboys. Not only will the league never rig things in their favor, the league actively rigs things against them, and will as long as Goodell is in charge.
chiefs 2025 roster is fool's gold, sell your stocks
>WR Marquise Brown
he hasn't played a healthy season since the pandemic and is known for dropping the ball in the biggest moments. It's not a question of if he'll be injured but when.
>WR Rashee Rice
will serve a 4 game suspension by playoffs and will probably be rusty from all the time off
>WR Skyy Moore
why is this 2nd round bust still on the roster, ego much Veach?
>RB Pachecho
he will never be the same after tearing his fibula bone, Chiefs should bench and trade him before he gets exposed
>RB Kareem Hunt
he's 29 which is a retirement age for RBs. The Chiefs run game won't be the same after their changes on the OL.
>TE Travis Kelce
will be 35 years old and will be double teamed again once Marquise Brown gets injured and Rice gets suspended
>LT Josh Simmons
he got a career altering injury which big players rarely recover from
>LT Jaylon Moore
this career backup is already injured and losing out his job to rookies. He fleeced the Chiefs GM worst than Jawaan Taylor.
>LT/RT/G Mike Caliendo
this bench warmer has no business starting in the league and no matter where they end up playing him will never fill the gap left by Joe Thuney
>LT/RT/G Kingsley Suamataia
their decision to draft and start this guy probably cost them a 3peat. Him and Mike combined couldn't match the production of Thuney. Chiefs OL got worse and we saw how badly this went for them in the owl

Josh Simmons won't be ready to start. He's not even fully recovered despite being ahead of schedule. And it's a question mark if he'll ever get back to 100%. Mike Caliendo and Kingsley Suamataia are really bad. They both got benched at one point last season. Jaylon Moore doesn't have enough play time. There might be a reason he's a career backup.
Joe Thuney won first team all pro in 2024 and has 4 rings. Guy is a hall of fame candidate. There's no way they don't get worse. It's also his experience and leadership on the OL they lost.
