What should I be doing for prerelease when I'm basically brand new? From what I was told:

Yeah, most of the series was about gathering support amongst the other nations to fight the fire nation. They rely on supporters and ally a lot during the story, so thematically, it fits. Mechanically...Allies have always been kind of shitty.

True, a lot of things are only here because of Spider-Verse, but they're still doing them as the comics did them. I fully expect we'll see some weirder deep cut weird shit from the comics that was never in Spider-Verse (we already sort of did with Grow Extra Arms), though there's not THAT much room for weird stuff if we're getting like 6 of every fucking main Spider-Person.

When I played the deck I didn't run that, but I can see it as a way to answer mana dorks and maybe even jackal pups, the format is a bit weird compared to other constructed ones, a 2/1 can indeed kill you as decks run a lot more lands than other formats and you can draw blanks for many turns in a row.

Please god make all the printers and storehouses holding this set burn in molten iron.
