They're only 2% of the player base and only the really good faction specialists are playing them so their winrates are skewed. Their three tournament wins probably aren't at especially large events though.
Any of the 2% or lower play rate factions are basically just the faction specialists playing them which is why they have such disproptionately high overrep and X-0 winning positions.

They have a good statline, but 170 for 5 when BGV’s are 160 for 6 while having an ability that increases survivability makes them not feel as worth it. Especially since their weapons outside the Chainfist have a hard time against Vehicles and their Powerfists are good, but arguably overkill against Infantry. I still love them though, and I’ve filled my list with too many of them.

Land Raider, I got many and they are weak. Supposedly they fall titans but in game they wet paper without even any kind of punch. even still, terminators suck ass they super fragile and lack series punch. those are units that are 1/4 of your points cost of army list and still suck ass harder then anything.

I like the look of the model, I like the idea behind it, the entire overgrown facehugger ambush assassin aspect, that you are literally breeding more of an army as you kill the enemy.
I hate that it's a solitary character with mid-level stats that has to kill-steal just to make any kind of impact.
Personally I think it should have been a unit to suicide against an enemy squad.
Stealth and Lone Opperative only carry it so far.

They feel absurdly overcosted. They are 100 points per gun in 10th as opposed to the 40 they cost in 30k (plus the guns, so it only reaches 100 points if you take the quad launcher with all the ammo options), and no way of adding more to the unit so any buffs can only target one.

So I have played my first game of 10th (sort of, just the "kill everything" game). Invulnerable saves need to be significantly restricted, or reduced to 6+ across the board.

If I fire the Total Terminator Death Brapper at a Terminator, and it goes through, they shouldn't be able to have a 50/50 chance of ignoring it. By all means, give them more wounds, make them cheaper or some other rubbish. Invulnerable saves (as they currently exist) make a mockery of anti-vehicle or anti-elite weapons. It's more likely I will wound a terminator just by firing lots of chaff then by using dedicated anti-everything guns.

Targets like Terminators shouldn't be able to outright ignore anti-terminator weapons, but if we give them wounds, they can survive them but still get hurt. For example, if Terminators had 7 wounds a pop, and I shot it with a meltagun, he'll likely not be able to save against it (6+) but he will be able to tank hits.

What if there were different types of morale debuffs based on units? Like Panicked guardsmen are forced to fall back and can't receive orders while Stressed marines get aim debuffs? Then units who can impact morale can change which form of low morale enemies receive?

40k team demanded from 30k team to make sizes of their new saturnine units not compatible well with 40k. Saturnine dreadnought as GK Dreadnight and Saturnine terminator as CSM Obliterator are probably the only two good uses of 30k models.

As someone who has been in a real life "SQUAD BROKEN" situation, people don't really have the mental bandwidth to spare when you don't know what's going to the left and right of you and people tend to hold their positions or actively seek to regroup to another position that seems safe. Of course, there are people who get utterly mind broken which I have seen but it's rarer than you think. People spend their lives quite cheaply, in my experience. Especially hopped up on adrenaline or if they have a religious reasons.

I've always been disappointed by their shooting and they have a problem outside of Renegade Raiders where the place they drop is the place they finish the game in.
Also their profiles aren't very well thought out. The D2 profile is better into hordes almost all the time (unless they have S2 for some reason) due to BLAST, negating saves and the fact you can just put sustained hits via a dark pact. And the anti-tank profile just falls flat 90% of the time in my experience, I'm sure it can spike hard but sometimes you just roll 2-3 shots, miss one, fail to wound with another and they save the last and there went 160 points of shooting.

If I remember correctly, you cannot 'stack' saves in 10th edition, is that correct? For example, if I have a unit with a 5+, and he is in cover, he has a 4+. If I then give that unit increasing save via ability etc, it is still a 4+, but treats -1 AP is still 4+ save due to the 'leftover' save.
However, the RECON ELEMENT detachment rules state that all my units get the benefit of cover (de-facto +1 save). It also states that while a unit is fully within a ruin, I improve the save characteristic by 1. Does this ignore that rule? Do I get 3+ save guardsmen in that situation? Or is it still 4+ and then ignore -1AP?

Alternatively, I have read the rules completely wrong and I shall be corrected.

The first book is somewhat interesting as you see the black legion form. Going from a depressed Abbaddon who has his hair down over his face and was flying the venegeful spirit solo somehow to the 3 guys convincing abby to continue the old war. The second book feels like a prelude to anything actually interesting. The entire time you feel like 'just one more chapter than something big is going to happen' and then it ends with a short pretty dull duel leading to Sigismunds death. It's a very uncreative pair of books, one of the most creative things in the books is Abaddon with his hair down and not in a topknot. It vaguely gestures to black legion civil wars but we see nothing like it and other high ranking BL guys but doesnt actually explore any of them.

The main characters mentor who is an albino gets taken by warp ghosts as a blood sacrifice to leave the Eye for the first time and then through warp fuckery was himself the ghost who kidnapped him in the first place. They're not very good despite having almost complete creative freedom of what happended when the HH losers arrved in the Eye for the first time, and the origins of the black legion formation

I am kinda conflicted. They look like the old ones, just upscaled (which was long overdue, considering the age of the old kit) and with slightly (!) better poses. The "possesed" one looks cool.
But on the negative side: the jump packs and the poses are just as bad as on the old ones. The base design just sucks.

The HH MK2 Jump Marines showed that they can do jump marines without retarded "one leg in the air nonsense"-poses
