Is there something more scary than nightclub fire? Imagine yourself solo-travelling, just being in wrong place in wrong time, then next minute you are awfully burned laying suffering on the street, dying very painful and very slow death, thousands of kilometers from family or anyone who speaks your language, totally dependent on awful healthcare of shithole country you are in. It's totally random, no fault of your own, it still happens from time to time and hundreds of people can be injured (great pain) in one such fire.

Not really, no. I'm a pretty tall and strong guy, so I think in the event of a fire I could just push people out of my way and get to safety.

You've never been in a nightclub. People would be packed shoulder to shoulder. There's nowhere for them to go no matter how le strong you think you are.
There are videos of that human crush in east asia where the only ones who escaped were white guys who climbed up stuff and none of the asians did because climbing is not allow. But that wouldnt' be an option in a nightclub. You'd die first because you'd breathe more smoke.
That being said as a tall strong guy you should go to nightclubs they are a pure meat market and you'd have some luck and probably not die
