I finally managed to land an internship that will begin next month! I also got my laptop working so I'm finally able to play games and work on projects again, so things are finally starting to look up. Really wasn't a fan at first, but once you beat the main game it gets much better and becomes an actual puzzle game.
The "postgame" (not that playing roguelight pipe maze is much of a game) puzzles swing between "I love them" and "the fuck". Those gallery rebus puzzles were awful but the logic puzzle room you get for it was a lot of fun.

Not very far yet. I'm level 8 and I'm on the main mission that follows installing the first data probe. I'm enjoying it but still learning and getting the grips of it. The game is something different compared to what I usually play and that's the main reason I got it, plus I assumed a JRPG like it would probably have a lot to keep me engaged. I've never played a xeno game prior to this.

It's a slow day at work today so I'm continuing my replay of Digimon Cyber Sleuth. Did some light modding for more added digimon and adjusted evolution lines to fit my autism, to the best of my ability at least. Other than some of them missing animations it's pretty seamless. Exhausted. AC at my parents broke as I got to my parents for a visit, so getting the kids down was a nightmare. Youngest is huge crybaby while the oldest is going through the terrible twos hardcore.
But my boss is putting me on a path to a promotion at work, which is pretty good. And I'm spending more time getting this narrative design document done so I might actually have a cohesive story to write. Also might be buying a new house in the coming months. Things are going swell for now.

Understood. Remind yourself that a very basic outline is all you really need. Once you start writing, planning can end up going out the window and you'll be making things up on the fly when the mood takes you.
Focus on the driving elements of your story, like the plot or setting to explore, the main handful of characters, any major points you really want to visit during the story, and the opening section.

I find that once you write the first opening to draw readers in, the rest of the writing starts to flow from there a lot easier than trying to meticulously plan everything.

Oh no, I was broke but I would never be that broke. My cost of living is just way too high and I've had to support my wife and there are many other aspects of my life I fucking hated and have managed to improve haha. I'm also an only child with a pretty wealthy dad so if shit ever really hit the fan I'd just ask him for a bunch of cash. I'll probably earn around $150k this year but like $250k was promised and you'd be surprised how little that can get you if you already have debts and fixed costs are like $4500 a month thanks to medical bills (even though I have insurance), high rent, cars, former loans, and being a sole provider, although my wife is close to being able to pay bills again.

I think it's worth it if you enjoy Dune or like desert environments. There's definitely some jank there but nothing that largely affects the game, in my opinion. The only major issue was that the Shai-Hullud would glitch out the game so they removed it for a little bit, but it seems they fixed that issue now.

Pet Sounds is an album I hold pretty close to my heart, as it was the first
vinyl record my dad ever made me listen to. And it really taught me a lot about
the differences between audio formats and quality, especially between analog and
digital recordings, not only that but Pet Sounds in general is such a godly album
you can listen to it anytime and it will always sound fresh, so timeless
and yet could not be made nowadays, oddly enough.
No one else could do it like Brian did.

Yeah. Friend gave me his ps3 a while ago. Old games are cheap and need cod after Cold War really sucks.(after BO2 and the zombies of BO3 everything went to shit with only MW2019 and Cold War being okay)
