Wageslaving right now. But I've been enjoying TCG Card Shop Simulator more than I thought I would. Also been helping some friends grind for some gear in Wilds. So that's been alright.

MGS3 remake is the only thing that comes to mind.

I am also kinda interested in the new Rimworld DLC. But I gotta to see if it actually adds lots of new stuff and isn't just something I could get from mods first.

my dream game is that some autist with LOTS of passion (And possibly a team or lots of time spent on it) makes an indie that does not just try to emulate this aesthetic and generation of games, but downright pretends to an atom to be a great game from that era to the point you could fool people into thinking it was a failed PS2 title or something with a 99% chance. Alisa but PS2, if you will.

I know that i speak from the point of ignorance, but i have a feeling that the only reason it hasnt happened yet/more often is just indie devs not being passionate enough and just posing like they are, instead of the usual Time/Difficulty argument.

I love Sims dearly but through all the years i just couldnt play it much because my brain resorts to autistic minmaxing every time.
Its not like im an aphantasiac autist either (Both were proven false), its just that i cant seem to detach from the "Spam artwork in your shitty house 24/7" gameplay loop no matter how i try, even if i start with the intent of "Lets make a retarded premise and play that out". It always falls down to the solved gameplay cheese, and thats the ONLY game i can remember where that happens, even though i play a lot of cheesefests.
I envy people who can make retarded playthroughs and stupid stories in this series and commit to them.
