She's not a necromancer, but that entire sequence showed they had absolutely zero understanding of what Sylvanas is and how she's supposed to operate. Sylvanas' whole strength was always supposed to be her cunning and careful planning, she wouldn't have just gone in guns blazing to fight Bolvar, she would've carefully snuck in and killed him without him even knowing she was there. Sylvanas preferred working from the shadows, which is why her becoming Warchief to begin with was retarded on not just a general level, but also a personal one for her character.

Even if it had been possible (it shouldn't have been, only Orcs should be able to attain that position) she would never have accepted since it pushed her to the forefront rather in the background where she preferred to be. Most of the Horde didn't turn on him, though, the majority sided with him which is the entire reason it takes both the rebels and the full force of the Alliance military to defeat him. Again you don't really get the sense of this in the game, you had to read the books to realize about 80% of the Orcs, and the majority of the Tauren, Trolls, and Goblins sided with Garrosh. The Blood Elves sat on the sidelines all the way up until the actual SoO as well, so pretty much it was just a small number of Horde rebels + the Forsaken and the Alliance VS the bulk of the Horde under Garrosh.

That's something else the WoW writers constantly ignore, casualties, attrition, and scale. According to the original numbers given in the Warcraft RPG the Alliance had way, way more numbers and land than the Horde, which made sense since the Horde were supposed to be the valiant underdogs in the original vision. But then the writers forgot about that and all sense of scale was lost, plus because of how the game works there can be no consequences narratively, so you get stuff like the Alliance conquering Orgrimmar and then just tipping their hat, waving their hand and walking off like nothing happened.

And it's only gotten worse since then, I think the Scarlet Crusade has been reused as an antagonist faction about 5-6 times now, apparently they have infinite men and resources since they not only always come back, but they come back with more people and more power than they ever had before, even though they just lost thousands of guys in their last big campaign.

I resubbed just to see what the game was like. I'll be honest the gameplay was one of the better versions of WoW. You could progress solo, groups or raids and it all matched up so you could do one then switch to the other easily. The world was more fun to get through because of the flying changes. The classes heroic talents felt good, even though its a fake choice.
