I was thinking about what happens at the end of the knight fight when you win. If we assume that Kris backstabbed Susie and Ralsei, then how exactly did he do it? I mean yeah it's a surprise attack, but still, he managed to completely wreck them in one hit. One explanation I was thinking of is that he used the knife. He carries it around all the time, and already know things that aren't weapons in the Light World can turn into weapons in the Dark World, now imagine bringing an actual weapon into the Dark World, perhaps it would turn into some kind of super powerful item, and that's what allowed Kris to absolutelly annihilate both Susie and Ralsei.

This is actually really hard to do. We use pronouns for a reason, conversations can get really awkward if people have to specify by name every time.

Wouldn't be surprised if Toby initially thought he was being really clever by making Frisk's gender ambiguous since it seemed like a neat way to enable self-insertion. But there was a point when he realised he would end up needing to use pronouns and was forced to settle on they/them to keep the gender ambiguity going.

It seems pretty clear to me that Kris is meant ot be non-binary in canon. But who cares, call him a man if you want to, or a woman, seriously, who gives a fuck, are you scared that the redditors are gonna scream at you or something?

Maybe the SOUL is actually Kris' in nature and we're just an unfortunate new development that comes from whatever dark consorting he's been doing to make up for whatever he feels responsible for in the past. Kris has only been acting strange (in Noelle's eyes) very recently. The second we gained control.
There's a lot of little things that lend credence to the idea that Kris was controlled by something else in the past (the bird cage is the biggest one: there's no blood when Kris rips us out every other time, so it can be inferred that the act doesn't physically wound Kris) but until we get more information that's the best idea I have.
Something is going to need Kris' soul - and by extension us - to fulfill whatever Kris' promise is, because they feel THAT BAD about whatever happened. And it's going to lead to one Hell of a spectacle if Susie and Ralsei are there to see Kris essentially preparing to commit - especially what Susie may see as - suicide for his agenda.
