They're "we fucked up the last installment" games, it's obvious to the most casual observer. They went from "THE BABY" and samus never shutting the fuck up with her college essay about the federation to her saying one fucking line...in Chozo. Starfox was worse it went something like

Zero or Assault would be the Dread equivalent then I guess but I see Assault as the Metroid prime 2 equivalent , but I didn't see such fervor in Shiggy when it came to Assault. He even begged people later to try SF0.
