Go to the bottom of the screen when the attack starts. You have more than enough time to figure out how to maneuver away from the droplets every wave they drop. Don't move any more than you have to, just move a little bit at a time. It gets more difficult when the Knight starts slashing the box in different ways (both horizontally and diagonally along with vertically), but if you master one, you should be able to pick up the other two pretty well.
The blade tunnel sucks ass, I agree. Just try to make tiny movements to adjust yourself to the blade tunnel.

Sans fight is over twice the length of the Knight fight. In my experience, it took me 32 attempts to beat Sans, while it took be 11 attempts to beat the Knight, and another 8 attempts to do it mantle-less. However, it took me many more attempts after that to be able to consistently beat the Knight, where as with Sans, I've never lost to him again after I beat him for the first time back in 2016. I still think Sans is the harder of the two though.

I just finished Chapter 3. Holy shit that came out of nowhere, it's bad enough that the fight happens right after Tenna, but starting with no heals and no save points in-between is extreme.

It's late already so I'm replaying it tomorrow, I assume I need to beat both stages with S-Rank in order to fight the superboss, and there was a secret puzzle I couldn't do anything in, so I'll look into it further.

I locked the fuck in and saw the truth. You need to keep your eyes trained at the right of the screen where the blades come in from, and NEVER look at the SOUL. You need to move according to what you see in advance. Due to the blade tunnel approach speed and your own movement after Hold Breath at the start of the fight coinciding, you end up moving to the safe spot by the time that safe spot approaches you by just keeping your sight fixed at the right of the screen.
