It's good, but the dev clearly has no idea what he's doing.

It's pretty good. Its biggest flaw is that there just simply isn't enough to see or do. There's a few hours of content and just as you really start hitting your stride. The game ends.

What a bummer it is this released in such a half-baked state.

I played a bit of the demo and it was fun but I'm not sure how much content is in the base game. Gameplay is like a combination of an mmo and dark souls? You'll be actively dodging shit while you wait on cool downs.

Yeah it's actually good, the hot animal women are just the cherry on top.

The combat is fast paced and the controls are tight. Regardless of your class everyone has a dash and a block that can parry anything if timed right, so once you're good at it you can Sekiro your way through the whole game while also having your MMO hotbar of abilities to work with.
You can also animation cancel just about everything by blocking which lets you use jump attacks like a second dash that also does damage and its a ton of fun. Jump attacking into a ball of enemies and animation cancelling into an AoE ability never gets old.

Only thing that really sucks is there's not much content right now, but an update is finally coming on the 7th. The game also gets a bit too easy once you know what you're doing, you can fly around like a crackhead throwing out abilities between dashes and jump attacks and so far there's nothing in the game that can really keep up with that. Still fun though, definitely worth $5.

I really love my character.

I would say the gameplay is solid.
As others said, it's very fast, you have a dash, you can parry everything and it's fairly skill based. Parry is a bit overpowered. You have a healing skill that takes a few seconds to cast and recharges over time and also healing items. There is also another skill that can be abused as a second healing skill.
The over reliance on active skills is something I am not really a big fan of myself, as I prefere down-to-earth brawling more.
Early on, getting overleveled is way too easy, but later on it gets more balanced.

Enemy designs and variety are very good. The enemies are really memorable and unique. Bosses are tough if you do not know their patterns and tactics yet.

Music is really nice.

Artstyle is very beautiful.

Weapons could be better. They are a bit generic but there are iconic ones like the Wooden Hammer.

Fashion is quite nice. There are not many items but the ones that exist are good.

Recommended for ARPG genre fans or if you like the nice retro artstyle.

Surprisingly competent for a one-man effort, but what's there now until early July is like the first act more or less. The dev also had a bad spell of PR in the last month and the current update has taken seven months to push out. It's an enjoyable action platformer. At the current version, you can easily get 10hr of play time just on a single character alone. And if you're interested in multiplayer, there are a few dedicated groups on /vm/ and /trash/.

Crescent Grove, but yes. There are a few areas you can go to after completing Angela's last main quest, but there's not much in them. Aside from that, you can try to get to the end of Tuul Valley, but there's not really any point aside from being able to say you've done it.

The BIGGEST flaw with the game is the fact there's no ungulate race. The lack of cute goat, deer, and pig girls drags the overall score of the game down by an entire point.
