I saw someone on the flat2vr/uevr discord , in the stellar blade thread complaining abut stuttering with that cpu.
But I am on a 12600k and didn't notice any stutters (other than the very occasional one), quest 3 running at 72fps with drops to 50fps, maybe the drops hide the stutters for me but I can usually notice them.
Anyway the guy there mentioned a possible fix so maybe check it out, I use OpenXR.

I'm halfway through the great desert and finally figured out what the fuck is wrong with the parry timing: it's more like Elden Ring's buckler where the parry frames are slightly before the attack hits so you end up having to predict the attack and blocking early. If you try to block just when the attack "hits" Eve you will be too late and get hit every time. This creates a massive visual disconnect where you're better off memorizing boss combos then trying to look at what attacks they're doing. It feels really bad against late game enemies where fucking up one parry just gets you hit like 4 times in a row.

Not sure what the fuck is wrong with gook devs. Why can't they just copy Sekiro or Sifu parrying?

Demogorgon did nothing wrong. I'm confused why Adam allowed Eve to fight him when Demogorgon was almost invulnerable and the closest the Naytibas had to reaching the colony. Even if Adam was unaware of Demogorgon's form or power, he knew there was an Alpha at the top of the orbit elevator. Surely to Adam this was an asset or at least a distraction.

Also, if Orcal had the last Alpha core needed, Adam should have had Orcal sacrifice his core rather than have Eve try and ultimately fail to recover Demogorgon's core on a risky mission.

They have their own will and goals outside of Adam's, hence why they attack Andro-Eidos despite Adam wanting there to be cooperation between the two species. Orcal is the only exception since he willingly became a hybrid and has since gave up his hatred of the Andro-Eidos and instead wants there to be peace between the two races, just like Adam.

As for why Orcal didn't give up his core, that would kill him and make it impossible for Xion to fight off the Natyiba raids that they face since his personal link system is able to repel the Naytiba's by collecting samples of each type of Naytiba and preventing said type of Naytiba from attacking Xion. Now, what happens after he dies due to Raven is up to the air. Does the personal link system need Orcal to be alive to catalog the Naytibas or is it a database that can be added onto another Andro-Naytiba hybrid? Maybe the next game will shed light on it.

It probably won't be addressed. Considering Xion is fully powered and has Angel Eve, the personal link would likely no longer be needed to defend Xion against Naytibas.

I ended up liking both fights for different reasons.

Elder Naytiba was cooler and more epic. It had that great final boss look and feel and that music with a leitmotif of the main theme is sublime. That same main theme used on the title screen and in the Matrix 11 Hideout, also give the fight with Elder Naytiba a kind of funeral feeling because it ends up being a dirge both for Adam and the end of Humanity.

Providence is just a son of a bitch that feels more aggressive and mean than any other boss fight up to that point. He'll get up into your face, beat it silly then just as quickly back off to throw a barrage of missiles, beams or energy balls at you. So much fucking fun. He's a representation of vengeance or justice, as the enforcer of Mother Sphere's Will on those that would betray her. Seemingly an answer to Lily's prayer and sent to save EVE, Providence was instead there to ensure EVE fulfilled her purpose and held Lily hostage the entire time without its potential victims realizing it.

And it's always funny to see people ask why their beastiary isn't complete after they finish the game. I had that same question. The game really deserves at least one NG+ run.

By the time EVE was in Abyss Levoire, Lily and Adam's relationship had gotten pretty frosty. They were already bickering when EVE was in Matrix 11. Then Raven's Legacy record put a huge wedge between the two, with Lily refusing to accept it and Adam embracing it. If you believe in something dogmatically and someone else tries to say you're beliefs are wrong, even nicely, you're not gonna like them.

I kind of want to say EVE is the one that keeps the trio together. Lily probably wouldn't have wanted to work with Adam if it was just him and her. She probably harbors some suspicions about him from the start, but so did EVE. Of the two dialogue choices you're given in the game, both are with Adam, and there's always an option to reject his offer. But Lily and Adam do get along mostly and she shows concern for him later when he goes missing.

Lily has more positive feelings for EVE, but that's kind of a given. They're both from the Colony. They're both part of an airborne squadron. She's a support unit and EVE is an assault unit, so they match up well together. They both share a common heritage and mission and as Lily's faith in Mother Sphere is challenged through the game, EVE becomes kind of a replacement for that Mother figure in Lily's life.
