This shit right here makes no one want to play tank because its a thankless jobaaaa and its not even worth doing in most matches because 3DPS is better for actually winning.
Although Payload is just so bad in this game, if you lose the first defense in a straight push the only way you can win is by playing 20 extra minutes of busy time where once fuck up is instant lose.

The big issue really is that even Jean's original outfit is terrible, so they don't even have a true basic OG to draw on besides "yellow and green" coloring. Many heroes' very first ever looks are a little goofy but they normally have a good core that's refined into a more iconic look that forms the basic idea for their outfits in the future. Like Wolverine's first outfit with the goofy whiskers was quickly refined into his iconic blue and yellow outfit by just modifying the mask and proportions.

Her other most well known outfit is her 90s outfit thanks to it being her one in the X-Men cartoon, but that's hardly a particularly cool outfit either, unlike say Gambit, Storm or Cyclops' looks from that era which are beloved.

They actually set this up back in the Season 0 lore stories, Knull sent an emissary to Hel and established some communication with Hela, since she's a goddess of death and darkness/death is his domain. I'm guessing they want to hold off on having Knull himself be the direct season villain since he's a fairly big deal in the comics so he could probably be a main villain for a while once Doom is eventually defeated. So Hela will be the season villain instead and probably the second map of S3 will be to prevent her freeing him from the central core of Klyntar.
