Is there a guide on what stats to focus on which character? I just end up trying to level everything and that seems wrong....

Going into the game I thought the singing and dancing parts would make more sense in context but after a few campaign runs it still feels completely detached and out of the blue from most of the stuff you're doing in-game. What's even more confusing is that while most of the songs sound like standard weeaboo jpop, the final ultimate song you get for winning everything sounds like a shitpost and is legit the best song of them all.

Do we have a schedule of events to catch up to the JP version? I heard we're running at 150% speed which would mean we'd be up to where JP is now at around Christmas of 2027. Don't know if that's accurate.

Are these missions specific to certain characters or do I just need to keep an eye out on the available races every turn to see if they're there? The claw machine mission is kinda tricky too, no idea what triggers it but the two times I've it I blew most of my attempts.

What I did for my champ was to train Wit instead of resting when there were plenty of days to train. Not only does Wit let you compensate for your shortcomings but you also need to be training to raise your friendship gauges as soon as possible, that way you can benefit from their stat bonuses earlier.

You can try Bakushin O to get Sptrinter S. and Takanatsunomiya Kinen done, while prayung to get the 5 support quest. Use as many Speed cards as you can.
Tenno Sho (Spring) is a Long racecourse, so pick your favorite horse thay can do that and run this and Japan Derby manually.
After that, you maybe can do a Urara run to proc the Claw machine and do as many racecourse as you can if there are any left to do.

The starting missions that require you to win "specific race" were purposely grouped along with the mission to do a run with with a specific uma that day since that girl runs in said race as an objective.

Gold Ship runs the Tenno Sho
Bakusin runs both the Sprinters and Takamatsunomiya
The Tokyo and Nakamaya race ones can be done with anyone as long as you're looking out for those specific locations, I did the Nakkayama one with King Halo but I think Gold Ship also runs a goood amont of those races. For Tokyo I think Vodka has a good amount of them, but you'll have to go out of your way and race on off days anyways if you want it done faster.
Claw machine trigger randomly when you go on a date at any point after your first year. Mayano and Urara are pretty good at farming it since they have long periods of no races.

Just as clarification: Every event will have racers and support cards that add a buff to your Event Points. It's not an effect of that Oguri card per se, so it'll vanish once the event is over.

You can decide to buff your points... Or you can ignore it and simply add a card that enhances your training and ease of progression. It's your choice, after all you only have 1 friend card slot.

Main story of the gacha is it's own thing. Chapter 1 is (you) rebuilding your team after the old lead trainer retires and all the other umas besides McQueen leave. Chapter 2 has a different (you) go through the '05 fillies year.
Career runs are basically the story mode for said uma.
Events are their own thing, pretty much all slice of lice stuff. This current event is basically just season 1 of the anime redux though.
Past events eventually show up in the archive when it gets added so you can reread them there. Eventually they'll give you an item that lets you read events that you've missed or didn't finish.
