So what happened to most of the cosmetics from the betas do you have to find them in the extraction mode now or wait for the singular item in rotation to change? Half the hairs are missing. Eye colors are limited/missing. My friend has two lip piercings he can buy but I only have a butterfly piercing he doesn't have? It's really weird. At least show us all the items greyed out and how to get them. Hiding unlocks in a live service game like this is annoying I dont know what I want to work towards.

Charged satellites to block off capture points, using it on big heavy targets like stego or tricera. You can also spam the satellite beams on smaller targets and they will hit too. Also left click charged beams also do crazy good damage against everything. Serenith is basically a more DPS sustained sniper and it takes a bit to understand the gameplay but you're supposed to be annoyina dn to dance on the edge of combat while doing all the objective and shitting out damage while being annoyingly impossible to kill.

also it is not annoyingly impossible to kill, any melee can just manually swing on you even if you have them corded and ecm up

I've played 8 matches with it now having had a lot of fun and success with it initially, but as I got matches against players who obviously played the beta (as I did), I got clowned at every turn and had serious ammo sustain issues

furthermore, when I switched back to welkin I knew all the weaknesses of this shitmech and boxing and buttfucking them became trivially easy, though they are quite rare

I won't claim to be an expert since its the first day we have had access to it, but imo the flaws are glaring

The number 1 issue is that its totally a free kill for Stellaris and cannot fight back at all, and that mech is getting very, very popular as you climb since its quite good.

Number 2 issue is that the fucking recon kit doesn't reveal stealth.

Also if there is a hurricane on the enemy team its GG you don't get to play.

Don't get me wrong I see its potential vs retard and the Lclick is very satisfying to use when you have good spacing, but it does not have sustained dps compared to aquilla, and the IFF rope feels like an unreliable gimmick to me since MOST mechs can just free aim if you jam them, and if they are close its not really that big of an inconvenience

- Mechanical theorycrafting autism. You have HP, recharging shield, some mechs additional auxiliary shields. A few different damage and projectile types. Generally melee bypasses shield, snipers partially, most hit shield first. Simple but tricky prediction-based parrying against melee which is deadly. Lots of mechanics based on locking on and lock-on disruption. Lock on auto-hits targets that are stationary or moving in straight line, but cannot predict zig zag motion, obviously, It all makes logical sense. Everything is spelled out in numbers, capacities and regen rates, energy (stamina) characteristics, lock on range and speed, it's all there.

- Mechs are actually VERY different, one has ridiculous firepower but is sluggish in practice, others have game-changer trump cards, apparently some people like flying an airplane so much they'd rather not do any significant damage, others like chasing them down with melee assassins. You have your agile soloists and ones with more weaknesses to the degree they need to be supported and protected by support mechs. Basically pick and choose the way you want to contribute to the team.

- Skillful cooldown and resource-management, similar to the dilemma of when to reload in FPS games but even more stuff to manage. Taking hits in shields to maximize regen value but avoid breaking it which triggers a cooldown. There's often a balance between maximizing usage for maximum value, but also using things correctly situationally for better effectiveness. And multitasking everything together. Basically how to pilot a killing machine most effectively.

- Audiovisually satisfying gameplay and intense chaos, it's simply cool.

Different anon. I've played Serenith for about 10 hours now. My thoughts on it are that melees fuck it hard, Stellaris especially. Lock-on disable works well enough to get you out of a bad situation when shot at. The IFF flip is a meme, but the ranged interact is god tier. You can sneak so many objectives because it's not that visible and you can do it from very far away AND you can combine it with lock-on disable. Primary is pretty good for peeking and killing light targets. Secondary is decent for denying objectives and also gives free damage against Stego and Tricera as they either tank it or let you shoot with Primary. Recon kit should have some radius in which it reveals stealth. It's over 3 times the radius of Falcon's so obviously not the whole area, or stealth just wouldn't exist when Serenith is in the match. Even without stealth reveal, it lets you peek extremely well and pop the secondary from behind walls, not to mention it benefits the whole team. Overall I really like it.

Technically there's no surefire way to know, but there are hints, and I think they've eased on the amount of bot games from the last test.
- If the match starts immediately after your last teammate locks in, especially if everyone locks in quick
- You can see them tracking you through walls in killcams. Killcams in general look VERY robotic with consistent smooth movement
- Bots sometimes fly into walls, walk back and forth long stretches if you peek corners, general dumb behavior.
- Bots don't talk, and just saying hi or asking if people are humans usually gets a response of some kind
- Bots don't have friend invites on, the option is grayed out iirc. You can disable this, but it's enable by default
- In the last test queue times got suddenly extremely long at Master rank, like from 15-30 seconds to 10 minutes, and afterwards were almost always humans that talked
- After a while you start recognizing that bots use the same strategies at round start, and you can almost close your eyes for the first shot.

It's not as bad now as it was in the beta.

The normal modes (6v6 and 3v3) have no p2w in any form. Mashmak (the extraction mode) lets you sell your loot on a shared marketplace so technically a whale could swipe his mom's card for a top tier set other people assembled. But all mashmak loot is exclusive to mashmak, it doesn't pollute the main game modes. Customization is aggressively monetized but that shouldn't be too surprising for a f2p game, and again it has no gameplay benefit.

The mode is made especially bad when there's no role equalization and the enemy team has a healer with stego or tricera and your team is doomed to try and pick off melee and flyer frames that roam too far from the pocket pair.

Stellaris is very annoying for some frames to deal with, but so heavily countered by welkin, alysnes, stego, and tricera that no amount of skill will surmount his design.
Stellaris also has really big issues with his 3 being borderline useless, and his 1 being shook off by a single dodge on a target kept in lock when its description states it's supposed to hinder enemy dodges. Stellaris can't be put in S+ tiers until his 1 is fixed.

It's a stalemate but it's certainly more favorable for the Welkin since they can eventually kill you and you can't hurt them. Neither of you can get anything done on the objective in the meantime. So dashing in is bad everything you do wrong results in a stagger which instantly causes you to armor drop all you can do is pray the ai doesn't snap turn too hard after the armor drop and you can chunk him to 2/3.
Can you even deal damage before the armor drop? It seems like the ai won't allow you to even take a swing until out of the first cage.

I was playing mashmak during the beta when my team got surrounded by the storms. Literally, they encircled us and we dithered too long so when my teammate in his falcon tried to go through it ate through his health completely and killed him. I eventually went through and only managed to survive by the skin of my teeth because I was in Alysnes and had to go through both 1-ups before I got through to the other side and revived my team.
