Basically if everyone plays well you'll get shitty timings on the boss kills and miss reopeners. Ideally you want to end the fight immediately after reopeners. So yeah, someone in the group will kill their own parse on purpose so the others can get a good score. As for PCT the cool thing about it is that you don't need to press things in a specific order each time, you just need to press certain things within a certain window. The order doesn't matter. Once you know your priorities and what you need to set up for reopener you'll get high purples or oranges, the rest is up to luck and how much your group feels like fucking you.

The big one for me is to make old content more challenging. Everything should have the difficulty raised with an opt-in ability to make it easier. I don't care if your 8.0 content is amazing if 95% of the game is not 8.0 and thus is boring as hell. Or they make something overtuned like right now with forked and randos. You can hit a difficulty that is in between choreography-hell Savage and dungeon and trial content designed for the lowest common denominator given it's an MSQ block if they can't pass it.

But I just don't see them doing that. When roulettes are mind numbingly boring and that's such an integral part of the content it's a problem.
