I remember when "no hablo ingles" was some wild experience something that might happen less than a hand's count over the entire course of Vanilla. A truly "Wow, neato" moment that ended with you putting them on the ignore list when the dungeon/raid/whatever was finished so you could play with people you can actually explain mechanics to.

Kids have no idea what STV in the old days was like, it was absolute hyperbole on our part on how "bad" it was but if you compared it to the absolute fuckfest and pure griefing adventure it is in Classic then that hyperbole comes to life or surpasses it outright.

It's wild how completely different Vanilla and Classic are, it's like a video game example of the dangers of losing homogenous communities.

What if...Midgardsormr's wife followed after him and her children into spess but because she was slower arrived much later and the Ascians not wanting Hydaelyn to have a SECOND alien dragon of incomprehensible power ally shuffled her ass away from the source onto another reflection that run at x% speed slower than the source.

What if Dragon's only truly die in spirit after their eyes are destroyed and Hydaelyn gained 1 Nidhogg Soul in her inventory after 4.0 before reincarnating it in that other reflection as a mortal race, splitting the soul in two since it would create a being of absolutely bullshit strength if she didn't (and that's literally her thing).

Now, hear me out, what if those twin souls were made WoLs in that reflection, and we go visit the the broodiest angriest viera Dark Knight lady to ever exist and her fraternal male twin brother whom embodies the WoL traits harder than (you), a true Alphinaud type of WoL.

And shenanigans ensue. Genocidal shenanigans from the angriest rabbit to ever live at some point. And it's actually successful genocide, that we fail to stop for once.

I always liked Lycion in the manga, was really hoping he'd get with a canary lass who had a coat of arms / family crest related to wolves for a comical way to hit it off on.

Honestly, I'd love another 25-40 chapters of Dungeon Meshi from a dungeon master plus later canary perspective adventures. Or even some manner of part elf related stuff, something that could tie into old man Gnome's kvetching at elves seeking immortality, surely some prior queen saw half elves being 1000 years old and took a swing at fixing their problems to live longer.

Enough chapters to be nice to see but not enough to ruin the mystique of everything, over explanation ruins much after all.

I'm just playing through sunbreak now. As a latecomer playing the whole thing in its finished state, the order in which content unlocks is a bit weird at the endgame. I'm like MR 110 and I've just finished farming up some risen valstrax shit because investigations let you hunt risen elders way earlier than griding your MR up.
