Second part is that getting key things necessary to beating game's challenges successfully requires spending premium currency on lootboxes without much guarantee that they will get what they want.
Third part is that income of premium currency is fairly low and it can also be exchanged for other advantages, like performing more actions per day or drastically shortening massive in-game timers, which all leads encouraging players to spend real money to acquire it.

With a gacha you have to accept that you won't get everything, that you won't get the things you want NOW, that you have to plan your resources and overall to be smart with your spending/rolls.
80% of the population is unable to do that with their real money and own life plans due to insufficient IQ or/and being unable to control their emotions.
