Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion changing some things around in a mod like damage values, fleet supply and health getting a feel for how everything works. Doing the same for Survivalist Invisible Strain adding in a handful of recipes. Making Tuvan style bread on the fire, boiled bandages as an alternative to vodka and giving the guns more ranged capabilities. Thinking about adding in more kinds of sandwiches and Hoover thin soups that let you make more with less. Just need to make the inventory icons or take preexisting ones and run them through GIMP.

I became a big of a fat slop last & this year, so I've started running again. Weekend blues. Family is home for the 4th and they're screaming at each other as they do every weekend. Need to change my car's oil, but I don't trust the jack and stands that my dad bought me from Amazon. I was put in terrible mood yesterday afternoon after reading the introduction to The End of History and the Last Man. I've been making headway on the GB emulator, however. I've implemented a debugging window that displays the tiles of a loaded ROM. But I still have a lot to learn from using SDL, the C POSIX library, and timing. My plan is to take what I learn here and put that towards writing my very own NES emulator or something niche like the PS1 CPU and some unit tests to go along with it. Whatever I end up writing, I'm hoping it will impress employers. The last thing that I want is to work some shitty service job because no one will hire me.

If we are talking about the OG muppets it is one of the most brilliant things America produced back in the day, but it loses a lot of it's humor unless you are a boomer or Xer and aren't American. There are waaaaaaaaaaay too many incredibly subtle jokes about America in the 1980s that just don't hit unless you lived through that era. It's still pretty funny, but if you don't have context 90% of the humor is just going over your head.

Pretty good. I'm slowly starting to fix my unhealthy diet. I used to eat like 2 fast food meals a day and then a bag of chips and a box of mini slim Jim's and some ice cream with sprinkles. Almost every single fucking day. I was a mess.
