And yes, single player games will be required to have an expiration date too, because at some point new hardware won't be able to run the games as they were intended, so they'll have to be given an expiration date too, because the company cannot guarantee that it will work on future hardware and won't be able to provide support (ie. they went under)

And if the "sequel" isn't meaningfully different enough, the player base will just keep splitting and splitting until new ones aren't viable. It's not a problem at all. They can keep making money as long as they want with one product, just so long as they make sure to keep it playable with one last patch and the appropriate tools when the time comes to retire it from official support. That's all that's being asked of them. That can all be accounted for with better planning and resource allocation. And it also benefits developers in the long run, reducing the risk of serious downtime. There's no reason not to do things this way except if you want to force your audience to reset all their progress and pay for the same shit twice or more.

Invariably, if this is to succeed, there would need to be concessions to the industry, if anything it is way more like we'll have to give up more then they will to get a bill made and passed

So which of these compromises would you be okay with? Say yes or no to each and explain why, and err on saying yes more then no even if ideally we wouldn't have to concede on any of them, just because I know otherwise people will say no to everything

Most of those concessions work fine apart from F/B as F is so specific its basically pointless and B just gives consoles different rules for no reason.
I'm also opposed to A requiring the IP holders get a cut when they are the ones who abandoned the game and practically would require every restoration effort to make an official contract with the IP holder.

C/D/E are fine so long as they all get the protections from E.

G would at least hurt games sales if studios tried it because sales would taper of more strongly as the game nears the deadline (ontop of harming player counts for multiplayer games) which ends up just incentivizing studios to implement an end of life plan for more profit.
