I do have one but it still makes sense to have integrated graphics in case something happens to your GPU. Also the versions of CPUs with I GPUs are usually not much more expensive than the ones without. Why go without for around the same price? Not to mention Intel quick sync if you do video shit

I use my PC for gaming, video editing, and stable diffusion. Should I get server parts like a thread ripper? I always hear people talk about ECC memory but I don't know what that means. Would I even notice a benefit from that much power ?

X3D is kino for playing old games especially stuff like old MMO's that are shittily optimized for multi-core and the X3D's can just Brute force them. In some scenarios where there's lots of players on screen I'm getting triple the FPS I was getting before on my 5900x.

I have a soft spot for my old toaster and want to bring its power out before upgrading. If I'm not pushing it to its limits, why reduce a perfectly fine machine to eWaste?

Yeah, I thought about upgrading to alder lake at some point then just never did. I donβt think comet lake gets as much love, but I have zero complaints. Iβve been holding strong since the coof.

It works nicely on modded Minecraft and for the servers I make to play with my friends, all while I can do other things on the side, and they are dirt cheap compared to equivalent options.
