It has the career mode which is a mix of gameplay with raising sim and VN segments, which do have a main plot but also a bunch of side events which depends in the support deck you're bringing to the run. For now we only have 1 career mode but more will be added in the future.

Then there's the Main Story which is more akin to a visual novel. There's also Event stories which you have to get Event Points to unlock more chapters, those seem to be missable (I think?) since the Event will become something else in 3 days.
