It depends entirely on how much you want to focus on PvP events versus just improving your own score.
There is a huge amount of diminishing returns rolling for supports past the “uncapped SRs” in terms of cost-benefit ratio, so you’re either going to have to decide if you only want to roll 2-3 times a year dumping everything you have on the few super meta cards they release, or playing more casually as F2P.
