Yes, you're training an athlete to be a top tier runner. It's not meant to be easy. Bakushin is easy mode since she's a sprinter, they don't need anything but raw speed. Distance runners need lots of stamina and maybe power on top of speed. So any of the distance runner careers are far harder to pull off. That just means you need to think about what you're going to train and think carefully about when to rest or do WIT training to recover.

Speed and Stamina are an absolute must. Power if you know she's hanging in the back but those two are crucial. Guts is a reserve Stamina so if you up Stamina you don't need it.

I'd recommend you delete your data and re-roll until you just get Tachyon on your first 10 rolls, and spend the rest of the points on support cards. Tachyon is a 1 star so she should be easier to get compared to others, you just had bad luck. Support cards are more important long-term. Try to have 1 from SS or S in this tier list and a couple of A's.

You can delete the data from the title screen in the bottom right. You can also set up a Link Data Password for your current Trainer ID and you can re-load them again later in case you think you might not get better than what you have now.
Tutorial should also be skippable now I think and the whole process takes a couple of minutes. Most people I know spent at least 30 minutes re-rolling if not an hour.

I guess, but that's gonna be like 2 weeks away. Also re-rolling until you get 1 specific card could take longer than just re-rolling until you get any random S card from the tier list and just settling for that.
If you're not in a rush to play, you could technically wait. If you play now you'll get login bonuses and I guess the Special Week support card from the current event. (I'm not sure if that's going to disappear later, someone else should chip in for that.)

How to get star shards:

1- Daily races or Team races can activate sales, those sales will have a few shards every time, you can buy them with Monie.

2- Daily legend races, restricted pool (those are not in-game at the moment, but funnily enough Condor will be the first one soon, so don't forget to fight her)

4- Friendship shop, rare events

5- Normal shop will have some options to get shards like trading your trophies.

6- Finally, when you get dupes you'll get shards AND trophies. Not the most cost-effective way but werks.

- Check your uma stats and how much % they gain from an specific stat, then choose your cards based on this. Also which type of position and distance they like
- Very first turn only focus on raising bonds with the most people, doesn't matter where they are.
- Orange meter means you can get rainbows.
- After your first race, keep focusing on making them orange as fast as possible
- If you get a rainbow proc try to prioritize this, however meassure how fast the other bonds are going and decide.

Guts is only useful for the last spurt and you don't want more than 300 during URA races.
Keep an eye on the growth rate of your uma's stats, Bourbon has +20% on stam gain so it's easier to train stam on her. She also has +10% on power but it's not needed for front runners. Power training also gives stam as secondary stats so you are being counter productive when selecting power training on her. She should gain power passively from speed training and guts passively from stamina training imo (just a little).

1st Bakushin, Taiki Shuttle, Mayano Top Gun and Oguri I had the overall best time with.
