I understand that, but there is a point where you should take a hint (hah) from your lesser once in a while, if not even a full on lesson. One of those moments where I wanna be a fly on the wall when they had the "let's make global happen" meeting, what questions were raised, what the tech people said (if they were allowed to speak) etc.
