I blame him. AGDQ 2018 Super Mario Odyssey run. He posted the script for the entire couch commentary on Twitter (deadname for X) before the run. It wasn't just cliff notes or funny things to bring up. The entire commentary was scripted. Someone says one thing, another person reacts to it, etc. He just thought this was normal behavior, that people liked this despite the fact that he's an OG GDQ runner that knows how organic it could be. Once everyone saw they could get away with making GDQ like a wrestling storyline, only way more retarded and gay, they spend a week or more writing these retarded scripts for a 10-120 minute speedrun.
Notice how even the stupid pre-show gameshow was scripted. Old GDQ, that would have been them actually answering the questions instead of "durr I don't know what game 'master of lockpicking' is from"

They’re pretty fun. I like them more than most of SOTE’s lineup. They strike a pretty fine line between gimmicky while also being actual fights so they’re memorable. If you wanna play solo, only two of them really feel jank solo and one of them is the first one that you gotta fight to access the rest of the game, but every other lord is perfectly fine solo. But the multiplayer is really fun and that’s what every boss is properly scaled around, if anything solo is actually easier than multiplayer. There’s also hard mode bosses with phase 3’s but they cycle them every week and there’s only three right now. They’re pretty cool, especially the first one we got.

Recommend me some good games you liked recently. Feel free to recommend some niche shit too I don't care.
