It got delayed after a big countdown and then essentially got shadow dropped over a week later, whereas it would have released before Umamusume before then and maybe have gotten a big fat "NOW AVAILABLE" store banner to boot, something that doesn't happen in the middle of a Steam sale.

I thought it was a fresh launch for global on Steam akin to P5X but it wasn't. It actually turned me off the game sadly.
