Rerolling = resetting your account over and over, abusing the starting currency they give you to roll gacha, and only starting to play once you get good gacha pulls to start with.
The context is that a meta defining card is coming out next week, and if you care about doing “well” in game, then there is no point in playing for the next week, since a brand new account with multiple copies of the new card will already be better than whatever you had going on.

What's the horse equivalent to progressing far enough to, say, build a full weapon grid in granblue? That's more than simply completing the campaign/careers but not bashing your head in PvP either? You usually didnt need premium weapons to do that..

The problem is the game is pretty much "solved" for most of its content so you end up seeing the exact same teams for every raid and the story has been talked about to death.
