They must have wanted the third person shooter audience with how much forced bow usage there is in that game.

They understand having enemies you actually have to consider different approaches for while applying all your tools makes for a more interesting and engaging game.
>>714906945
I'd be a little disappointed but it would depend what it's replaced by if that were the case, it fills a bunch of little different roles and really earned being a core part of your kit as time went on. Or they might just simply make it a Ryu only thing, Yakumo has his hands full with 8 on demand weapons so far.

Maybe, I am just not sure where they'd fit it into the control scheme since the RB is used by the grappling hook now and Ryu's levels still seemingly have the grappling points. Maybe they sacrifice the first person mode and just place the shoot button on LB as a compromise, dont think that button was occupied by anything in the IGN footage.

I think they could do that back in BSS for X360. Minus the rape of course, so it was kinda lame. They probably got rid of it because it broke up the pace of the combat, along with swords getting literally stuck in enemies.

If you've ever wanted to see a DMC2-inspired game there's a certain game on Steam that has all the hallmarks of DMC2 but is somehow significantly worse.

Separate shooting sections is cool. Shooting in the middle of a melee fight is not. It completely kills the pace and flow of combat which is the last thing you want in an action game.
