building roads in these games are the most satisfying thing ever. i don't even bother with the missions/orders. i just wanna PAVE.
based road enjoyer. it is the best part of the game
>>715670437 (OP)I felt the same but after three weeks I got all roads and rails built, so I decided to end the game today. Really worth the ride finishing up the backbone and arteries all the way till the terminus. Next I'll focus on fully upgrading to highways, but I'm due for a day off to process l things. Keep on truckin'.
Based pave chad. Building the roads is like an entire game of its own. Once I built that final stretch of road, I got hit with a feeling of accomplishment I havenโt from in a videogame in years
It took playing nearly 100 hours offline for all my roads to finally die and now i am free of roads.
These level 2 roads were nearly immortal, thankfully i took action quickly and only 2 of them had shown up. Fuck your fun. Only serious gameplay inside.
Post game spoiler lite question:
So mission grades don't do anything? I got a few As and one C towards the end, was going to go back and S that C but there's no point as far as I can tell. I think there's a cheevo but I can't how you can get it on the post game. Can you unlock the ability to redo missions or something? Why no NG+ to go after the perfect run?
>>715672710You're out of luck. This C-Grade will be inscribed in your memory forever, nobody has to know.
>>715673106I mean it's the very last one with "yojimbo" showdown. Thankfully I have the save file before it happened, so might get that A or S ideally. I really was shocked they didn't have a HERE'S YOUR PERFORMANCE RECORD, besides the SSS stat cards. Not so much as a subtle reminder of my blemishes in the record.
So this means all it does is speedrun your portergrade ranks. Kinda not what I expected.

>>715673609Kek. Taking away potty rights is an understated misgiving for the sequel.
>working towards a collective goal with others is satisfying
waow... how did you figure this one out anonymouse.........
>>715672568Yeah, I took lots of photos of that final stretch to commemorate the occasion. I also built a hotel at the T intersection near there too so I can work backwords upgrading things, reverse order. I already have multiple stacks of mats saved up on the DHV. Going to be a fun victory lap for the postgame.
None of the robolegs should allow cargo on the hips, they should drain a bit of battery constantly.
Floating carriers should be disallowed on ziplines like they were originally.
Boots should receive random amounts of damage so that the player could be caught offguard, prompting him to carry extra pairs of boots in the future.
Battery drain should be increased flatly across the board for all items, extra batteries will become more important.
Lightweight versions of guns should cost more and have less ammo.
Phantom gas grenades should have an effect on Sam, requiring a gas mask for this tactic.
Ghost Mechs should have a wider detection range. It's too easy to walk around them, they are blind.
Mortars and rockets for vehicles need adjustments to their target acquisition speeds. Trucks go too fast for the weapons to target and fire in time.
NPC cargo from area recovery missions should emit strand visuals from an odradek scan, they are near invisible to players who deactivate markers in the options menu.
Every item should cost a lot of more materials. The resources are infinite, defeating the purpose of having a resource system.
It's a bit difficult to tell which direction armed survivalists and the like are facing. Their odradek's light isn't a sufficient tell when the enemy's silhouette is already glowing red and yellow from a scan.
The DHV Magellan must have an animation showing it dive into or rise out of the tar when a course is charted from the map. There already is a button to skip animations and jump straight into the ship so this would not be a problem. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
The BT spawning mechanic needs a complete rework. BT in gameplay and BT in story are completely dissonant.
Auto-aid request is a bad system, it is SPAM and players do not want to engage with these fake requests.
The Dowser needs to reveal her expansive boobs to the player.
Blood bags should not be in the item menu since they are already automatically equipped. They are clutter.
Tell K.
Why don't you want to shitpost about this game /v/? There has been 0 fucking threads. Is the game too good for you, nothing to say?

Just finished the first game and building/rebuilding roads or just about anything was extremely satisfying.
Thinking about replaying it on harder difficulty now, if I do that than I will most def set up way more zip lines across the map, something I wished I did once I finished the game.
Hopefully the second game comes to PC sooner than later.
I know what Blackdrift sounds like. It's been on my running mix, since 2025.

>>715678846Also want to add that the Decima Engine is something else man, wish Sony would outsource it to other devs, extremely clean.
>>715677514I'm still processing the ending. Nothing happened I didn't understand, I'm just coming to terms with where the story is left off.
That being said I need to know how the game expects me to get the 10 S rank missions cheevo if there is no retrying or NG+.
>>715678979Decima is fucking gorgeous and has spoiled me from other engines. I wish I could go back to thinking Dragon's dogma or monster hunter looked pretty good.

Troy, you failed by your own admission. But hell of a nice try though.
>>715678846I miss the mossy green fields of the first game. If i have a Death Stranding dream those are still what i see.
>>715680217>he dreams of stranding tooHoly fucking based. It isn't all the time, usually coincides with my playthroughs, but I had a nap before finishing the last 5 episodes of the game and my subconscious thought up my own ending to the game. The real one didn't line up with my expectations, but the ending in my dreams was kind of a marriage of MGS4 and Death Stranding 1.
>>715680426I loved this mission so much I kept the save file just before it.

>>715680084I genuinely blew a gasket at that part. The deadly audacity of Kojima's hand reaching out to touch my anus. I wouldn't spoil this to my worst enemy even if it's on fucking youtube already, call me an coy fag but it took me a few hours to believe what had just happened in front of me.
>>715680913i just actually looked at my picture from a few weeks ago. who the fuck is that sitting on top of the crane with a fishing pole?
>>715681030It's tarman, look at the cat. What the fuck.
>>715670437 (OP)Yep, now that's a game concept *sip*
>>715681093right, thats whats sitting on his head, couldnt figure it out. holy shit lol
i've been playing and taking pics but not really sharing them because i dont want to be spoiled. one night after a main mission there was this GIANT FUCKING MOON and i have no clue if thats something that happens story wise or not, very cool either way
How is Death Stranding 1 offline? I might pirate it to see how it plays on my PC but if the game somehow feels incomplete without online, then I'll probably just skip the whole thing.
one more before i abandon the thread, combat is so wacky in this game
>>715670437 (OP)Building roads and the vehicles are the worst part. They make the game boring but you gotta make them because a lot of the time they're the optimal way to do deliveries.
>>715681238I had a giant moon and then all timefall disappeared for the next day, not a raindrop in Australia. But it's not always the case.
Agreed. It just feels good to build the roads.
>>715680570There was a submarine level / scene like the mgs4 ending. Sam's final mission where the DHV crew says their farewells as they get picked off one by one in the conflict, him being dragged through broken glass proverbially. They succeed and send him on a one way trip to the moon to stop the extinction entity by way of being fired into orbit via the Magellan gun. He gets stranded on the moon after he wins the fight, then after he builds a comfy shelter up there to spend eternity repatriating. That is until earth launches space programs once again, all with the hopes of leaving earth if it gets bad enough on our planet. They swoop a satellite by and send word they want to pick Sam up on the moon in the aftercredit scene; he's the only man that can survive the trip to launch the generation ship and help humanity spread through out the cosmos. That's the next game's permise, connecting and forming constellations as a ludens naut in an open space adventure where you get to design your own micro world onboard the star hopping vessel.
That's my nap's auto fill on where the story could be lead next. I think I went and skipped a whole title or two into the future, but could be fun if they let us finally go to the moon like Cliff said in DS1.
>>715681381I played it offline and it was still pretty good. A great game, actually. The game has AI NPCs that pretend to be other people and do the things they would do, so just try not to think about it too much.
And IMO, it feels better as a solo adventurer, paving the way for everyone else. From what I hear from online players, every time they think they figured out something clever, somebody else already did it and left the tools or messages there, which takes a lot away from the experience.
So I guess, offline is great if you're fine with leading the way, but online is better if you want to be part of the group conquering the wilderness.
>>715681702Wow that would be cool
>>715681381It's good in offline. You get to have your personally curated map and the lack of structures makes you engage more with the game mechanics. It's a bit more hardcore but still easy though some say it's less fun because you won't be zipping and zooming around as much.
The structure construction limit is going to be the biggest bitch in the game and i recommend finding a cheat that unlocks the chiral bandwidth, just activate that. You should be able to build the bridges that you want to build without agonizing over it.
I think online and offline are both valid.
>>715682101When I built the roads offline, there were still contributions made to it that I didn't do.
>>715682039Dreams are a hell of a thing. I like to think Kojima might approve, if he believed the technology was able to support a floating map drifting through space, able to dock with other heavenly bodies. That being said he went in the opposite direction and chose to make the crew of the Magellan highly capable and ready for a new adventure in the next title.
>>715682101I can imagine a system to palliate this bandwidth problem. The structure limit is in place so that the servers don't get flooded and so that we need to rely on other people's structures as well. In offline mode neither of those reasons make sense.
When the player switches to offline, his bandwidth becomes unlimited but a message appears warning him that if he switches back to online mode than his oldest structures will be dismantled one by one until the online bandwidth limit is reached. I don't think this would be impossible to code.
If the devs didn't want players to go offline than they shouldn't have given us the option to do so. So let's do it correctly.
>>715682280Did you play logged in but without structure sharing or offline-offline. With partial offline then new roads can't be build but existing roads will receive repairs from other players.
>>715682280I think it's presumed the preppers help. At least in this title that's what happened to me. The fucking Pizza Chef and I built at least 4 road between us on the north side of the continent.

>>715681702You'll get your "Unite Kingdom Newbie island map" and "full map African continent" Tomorrow's Big Adventure and you'll like it.
>>715683195I've been wondering where next? Europe is going to suck, going through the exciting locals of...France and Germany? Brown slav bogs? Siberia? Boring forested flatlands. Middle east would be rocky deserts again even if it has badass mountain ranges.
I believe someone near Kojima would tell him that setting this game in Africa would be a controversial idea to say the least.
I thought Canada would be obvious for DS2 but now it's out of the question, not exotic enough anymore.
They are left with Indochina and Japan. Not sure i want to see Weeb Stranding.
Last option are timey whimey plate-gate fantasy lands.
>>715684036>the exciting locals of.They're called locales, dumbass
>>715683195This nigga's got three feet.
>>715684096You port on two feet?
>>715672568>>715672289>>715670437 (OP)Are the roads pre determined? Like you can only build them in a specific area?
I thought I heard something online about people building roads and they update worldwide to everyone's save file. Seemed kinda shitty as a new player that everything you need to struggle through has been paved over.
>>715684036Africa would be perfect because they would have dense jungle and mountain combat, something we got a teaser of in mexico, as well as creature dense savannas and the massive unforgiving desert as the finale approaches. The conflict ultimately brings us to the site of Egypt, where Higgs has found a way of reincarnating on earth through afterlife shenanigans via Egyptian methodology. Shit would be cash.
>>715684096Even better, his 5 star connection to THE FOOT DOCTOR gave him boot-clips on his boot-straps.
>>715684362The pavers are preplanned, their order of completion is determined by proximity to the prepper stations you slowly expand and connect. Their materials requirements kind of dictate what order you are meant to build them in, leaving the ones at the far end of the map from start being crazy expensive to fully construct.
>>715678979You should play Horizon if you haven't already. Death Stranding takes good advantage of that engine but forbidden west is literally one of the best looking games ever made.
My one criticism of death stranding (and 2 for that matter) is the lack of diversity in environments. 2 for example has like 1 or 2 types of trees that are just copy pasted across the entire fucking map, it's quite lame. At least Mexico had more plant variety and it's a tiny sized map compared to Australia. Was really disappointing when I got to Australia hoping there would be more jungles and other environments only to have basically none of that.
>>715684638This nigga gets it. The mexico map was more impressive and there was potential left on the table to vary up the biomes. I was disappointed when I reached the "swamp" area and it was fucking barren with nothing to do out there instead of being a shitty place to port like a good swamp would be.
>>715684758Yeah, when I first started playing the game and realized Mexico was just a teaser for the main game I got super excited with what kind of environments they would have in Australia.
Don't get me wrong, the game has a decent variety, and there's lots of beautiful rock formations waterfalls and other stuff in the game, but when it comes down to it too much of it is just similar desert looking environments and there's very little areas with any vegetation at all when they are using a game engine that made vegetation look spectacular in the horizon games. A lot of missed potential and if Kojima ever does make a sequel to it hopefully its in south america or africa or asia or really anywhere that they can do a lot more diverse environments.
>>715684458It's a beautiful continent, it would be very exotic and unique. A game about foreign companies descending upon Africa to set up roads, railways and mining outposts to extract resources. I suppose it ended up fine to portray that happening to Australia but then think of all the black people in your game.
>>715672686You know, playing this game without roads does sound interesting. Of course, youโd have to disable shared content so other players donโt build the roads for you, but if you manage to get it working itโd make the game a completely different experience. Youโd suddenly have to consider your vehicleโs battery when previously it was something you took for granted. If you wanted to do a delivery from South Knot to Lake Knot youโd have to set up a โtrade routeโ. Youโd first chart a route on the map, take like four PCCs with you, spread them out throughout the route, then carefully make your way through with the cargo. Of course, if you want to just make the entire trip on foot then thatโs an option too. But thereโs some main story deliveries where you absolutely need to take a vehicle with you. Itโs an interesting thing to think about
>>715670437 (OP)agreed but why the FUCK is NO-ONE ELSE upgrading the roads? the fake multiplayer progress seemed to come to a halt as soon as i finished the roads. Nothing happens anymore. I would love for even few roads to be upgraded by others but no, gotta do it all on my own. did i brick my multiplayer save somehow? should i delete all bridge links i've made? maybe those are just cucking me out from people who actually do something
>>715684983Felt like there was half of less aussie preppers on the aussie map. I have faith in la creatividad.
>>715685076I don't think about it, i played it.
It does get lonely but i find the experience you described better than the alternative as the Likes aren't worth the surge of panic i feel when i stumble upon a structure i disagree with.
>>715684362Roads and other structures work in a weird way where the world will slowly become populated with them as you play more and more. Letโs say you go the entire game without delivering materials to any road, you might still see a handful of random roads pop up here and there. Initially each paver on your world starts with zero supplies but theyโll slowly accumulate automatically and will eventually be built on their own. It takes awhile though, I wouldnโt rely solely on other players to build roads for you if you need them. Same goes for structures, when you first explore a new area you wonโt see a single structure around but once you โunlockโ an area and connect it to the chiral network youโll slowly notice more and more structures popping up out of nowhere. It does kinda trivialize a game where โrebuilding Americaโ is such a core theme, but it does give you a sort of sense of camaraderie seeing other structures with playersโ tags on them. Like youโre walking the footsteps of ghosts from the pasts. Dark Souls does something similar to this, as I understand it. If it bothers you that much, there is an option in the pause menu to disable shared structures
>>715685154Here's the problem I'm having with bridge links
Someone visits my cool ass bridge in mexico, leaves 1k likes and then never encounters my shit ever again because they don't go back to mexico. Worse I am at the point at post game now where I only get about 2/3k likes on a single section of road, and no other sign or tech gets any. I can't even see a pop up on the map of where they liked a road, which structures will alert you to if they're built via PCC. After I find these fuckers in the wild, I notice they drop 4 signs in one area, I nuke the like button on all of them, and then they delete those signs because they dropped a net of another 10 signs some other unknown location on the map. It's like they can't find any of my other structures of signs to finish the max connection levels or don't even bother looking. Happens to me over and over, I have many 4.2 star contracts but none of them can find my shit and vice versa. Best structure I have is the perfect bridge in mexico crossing the river near the Bokka and it has 30k lines. Nothing else reaches even half that amount that I have; and yet if they tracked roads in the data sheets I could see how many likes purely come from those and where.
The contract system in this far and away is better than the first, and yet it has never been harder to locate what other structures your contracts have constructed, and vice versa.
Bridge links don't fucking work, my interactions are always one sided one way or the other. Post above tells it how it is.
>>715685498Anon, half the fun in this game is seeing dumb shit structures that serve no purpose. Itโs like a zoo of peopleโs stupid ideas
>>715685634yeah bro that's awesome, meanwhile my best bridge links get hardstuck at 2,5 and have never gone further despite liking everything i see from them.
Do the aid request circles really guarantee that the structure or the cargo is going to appear where it's supposed to?
>unironically checking bridge links
>caring this much about getting likes
You zoomers and your likes. I spam likes on structures I appreciate and donโt give a single shit about the likes I get in return. If a structure I built gets likes, cool. If it doesnโt, cool, I built it for my own needs anyway
>>715685498Dangerously based post
>>715670437 (OP)>>715672289>>715672568>being mindbroken by a walking simulator so hard any other equally boring activity becomes insanely appealing
>>715686037Structures, no, it gives the builder the rights to position it. That is within reason, it has to be within "cargo interactable range" and if it is then it fulfills the request. Someone asked for a bridge and I positioned it better than they demanded and it still met the requirements.
As for items they pop up from the ground almost as you stacked then, but probably the same as the "offload" feature works. The items will stay there until the requester drives by, picks them up, and you only get paid if they didn't forget to tip you likes while hoovering up cargo with drive-by dual sticky cannons.
>>715686173The goal is to get at least one max connection contract and then stop caring. This current system makes it neigh impossible. I shutter to think what it will be like trying for max connection in several months from now.
>>715685961No Anonymous. No more playing garbageman, no more clown trucks or yoshi bikes littering my zen garden. Get off my lawn zoomers who build every single structure right next to every single shelter because ???? that's where the structures go.
I will suffer no incorrectly placed safehouses, retard bridges, teleporters, misaligned jumped ramps or useless postboxes. Soon it will all be clean. FROM YOU.
>>715686308>yet another midwit calling Death Stranding a walking simulator yawn
>Sam, your next order might prove a difficult one. >>715686468 is clearly autistic and is unlikely to want to join the chiral network until your connection level reaches 3 stars. Tarman appears to have locked himself in his quarters, told us his tar currents were in turmoil and that he couldn't feel his hand anymore so the DHV Magellan will be unable to provide you with support on this mission. >6 specially issued PCCs with enforced aesthetic placement features will be provided to you, read the order details carefully when you decide to pick up this order from the DHV Magellan's terminal. Good luck Sam. The DHV Magellan will regroup with your position once you've established a connection to The Grognard.
Wonder if anyone's watching...
>>715687685Magnificent bastard.
Playing the first game now, always quit after doing the Wind Farm and honestly It's shocking how easy it is so far. BTs aren't even a challenge, just bring like three sets of grenades and I'm good. But I gotta ask, are the roads something only I can complete or what? Since at times a bunch of the roads were built before I even touched them so do other players matter or what? Also should I actually try to max out the Junk Dealer and his wife's mom out before I go to South Knot City?
The design of the ghost mechs is orgasmic. You should visit the archive just to look at them upclose. I want to play as one.
>>715688367roads make getting up and down the mountains much easier, especially in the dc that adds another highway from mountain knot down to the distro south lake of like knot. you can haul a shit ton of resources into the mountains for your zip network and also for the deliveries where you're moving more than the lvl3 power skeleton can handle.
bts are just dependent on how you want to play. a lot of people don't even bother letting themselves get caught on purpose and dragged away so they can fight the catchers, lions, etc.
>>715688367Sometimes a road will complete on its own. Most of the time you have to deliver the last 10% of materials yourself though.
You donโt need to max out every survivor right away, just do it at your convenience. Those two are kind of a chore to get to though so you might as well get them over with quickly.
>>715688903Yeah I figured that since there's a BT area right between them and that sucks ass but I figured I might as well get the Anti-BT handgun and Speed Skeleton upgrades as fast as possible like what I did with the Engineer. Actually speaking of, does the Elder give me any good shit or is he just stuff I don't care about like music or cosmetics? If so, I'll probably just shit on the Mules surrounding the Collector guy I haven't met yet once I'm done with the two mentioned previously. Maybe I'll go back and max out the Farm and Weather station guys since they seem really useful too.
>>715688367>Also should I actually try to max out the Junk Dealer and his wife's mom out before I go to South Knot City?at least 3 star everyone to get thier fabrication data i.e. junk dealer gives you speed skeletons and chiral mom gives you anti-bt gun. i always stopped before meeting heartman since by then you have most of the toys by then and you can finish 5 starring all but a few of the preppers and zip the mountains.
>>715670437 (OP)>Dude Bros, we raced through the main game, built nothing besides ladders or anchors, left positively no likes or contracts, ignored shelters that didn't fork over their weapons on the first stars and we unanimously agreed building roads is stupidly hard and a waste of time... >What do we do now?I don't feel sorry for them. Three to four weeks to play through the game was ample time to get most of Australia developed. These jabronis did it in three to four days.
>>715689070Yeah, that BT area sucks ass. I ran right a BT once and didnโt have any grenades on me so I got dragged away and lost like three potential S-rank grades.
I canโt remember what the Elder gives you, probably nothing too interesting. The Collector you actually have to go to yourself. Heโs not part of a delivery mission from another shelter, you have to actually go into his own shelter and take orders from him until he joins Bridges and then UCA in order to unlock orders for him from other shelters
>>715689227I have like 100 hours in Death Stranding (1) and like 15 stars on Samโs thigh so far and I still just barely met Heartman. People who rush through these games are fucking stupid
>>715689070do the collecter asap
he gives you the backpack cover (only covers so much) which comes in really handy for mountains when you get the giga blizzards
>>715689178So it's just three stars to get all their shit? Could have sworn I got level three skeletons from Engineer at four stars but it's been a while so eh. Thanks though, It shouldn't be hard to just get three for the two and move on to working on the roads and fix up that DOGSHIT FUCKING ROCKY AREA NEXT TO THE LAKE KNOT DISTRIBUTION CENTER FUCK
>>715689304Thankfully the Junk Dealer gave me that Speed Skeleton so I just fucking ran by them and on the way back with his daughter they fucked off. Surprised they never explained the gold BTs but man they're awesome with how many crystals they drop. Was getting pretty dicey on those from building roads but thankfully I'm back at at least 2k. Sad I didn't play this game earlier, it's honestly pretty fun even if it's piss easy at Normal even with like six mules attacking at once.
>>715689227Reviewers playing DS in the most retarded fashion possible became a running gag. There's a 7 hours video by whitelight featuring nothing but footage of Sam tripping over and falling down which must have been next level humor on this subject.
>>715689796Reviewers and the average /v/fag probably scared a lot of people away from the game with how retarded they played.
>>715689536>So it's just three stars to get all their shit?no, but gives you a hint on what they're offering. i.e. junk dealer gives you speed skeleton at 3 star and if you really like using you can max him and get the lvl3 version if you want that or you can max him later. most of the 5 star rewards are cosmetics, you can see this 3 stars as well when you get a color for your glasses, or vehicle means at 5 starts you get that color for vehciles, backpack, cosmetics, etc. also keep in mind really short deliveries don't do much to advance progress. a good example of this is mountain knot city. a bunch of short deliveries barely does anything, but a delivery of a shitton of resources from lake knot or south knot will make the progress fly.
>>715687685this is why the game will bomb
autists are only .0003% of the global population
>>715689227>we unanimously agreed building roads is stupidly hard and a waste of time...https://youtube.com/shorts/9WQwoPvgEHw?si=o7I9wC1jWr-7JefV
There's a time and place to rawdog trailblazing, and it's called pacing yourself through the main orders while you romp around a newly discovered territory.
>>715689408Oh yeah, I slowburned Ds1 when it came out. I think I took the same 3.5 weeks to ready myself for the ending. Do enjoy the ride, I still think back on the comfy simple times whilst playing the new title.
>>715670437 (OP)Broke my game after building the zipline, deliveries are no longer fun and have turned the game into a chore. Don't make the same mistake.
I finished all the roads and monorails. It's comfy listening to good music while having your truck autodrive.
>>715690061But it's clearly not for autistic players. It accommodates and willingly caters to a worst crowd than the casuals, people who don't really want to be playing the game.
>>715690390>It accommodates and willingly caters to a worst crowd than the casuals, people who don't really want to be playing the game.I don't really fucking know how you come up with these conclusions. I think you're just a retard.
>>715690370i only went out of my way with zip lines for LoLoL deliveries to get birth/growth of a legend. i used my original game save file in the dc and unlocked all the cheetos and it cleared my mind and made the dc much more relaxing. i only used minimal zip lines and used the floating carrier as a snowboard much more.

Be honest. How many porters did you kill for their loot?
>>715690370You focused on the destination and MULE'd out, you delivered in order to get the star and it twisted your perception of the cargo. Next time you play you should not take on an order. You should only deliver cargo you find inside of a postbox or on the floor, including any equipment.
>>715691196I got through the entire game using only rubber bullets, tranqs and stun damage only to realize MP bullets are non-lethal from the getgo and you later get the ability to jailbreak them. So, absolutely zero. But I'm thinking of capping some asses in the post game.
Truth be told the fun of building roads for me was rolling into bandit camps and stealing all their stuff, donating it to other porters and melting down the metal and ceramic rich contents into paver fodder.
does the second game still have the cool little things like carrying cargo in each hand and letting go of it while standing behind your truck has sam put in the truck so you don't have to go through the cargo menu??

>>715691391Yup. Lots of little helpful things like that in the game. Details really make a big difference, something that Kojimbo has always understood.
Is anyone else very impressed by the haptics of the dualsense? It genuinely feels like there's haptics for every thing happening on screen. Feels like I'm at a 4DX movie theater or something. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a sex scene and you could feel it.
Can someone who beat the games answer me something, because I'm forgetful:
What the fuck was Cliff really to BB-28? He claims his wife is in the vegetable crisper and what I thought was his child was in the BB pod. I felt like he's the one character that got thrown under the bus and forgotten in DS2. In turn they made Vana an absolute jobber that gets fucker over as bad as Unger. Now it's Sam's kid, and Cliff is fifth wheel to Neil?? Did I miss something or was Lucy an absolute player?
>Ive not been doing my daily irl walks because I've been playing too much DS2
>>715691887Kojima and his team have done the best job of incorporating the controller as an immersive tool, far beyond what other studios venture now a days. I'm always in love with the consistently tight control scheme and rumble features that prevail his titles.
>>715691437Same, and also they seem to have removed that as a possibility in DS2, however I haven't pushed it to the limits yet to know if it's impossible to roadkill.

On top of that, all the new skeles look very similar besides battle, and none of them have the sculpted muscles features anymore.
But aside form that, I dig the drawbridge look and designs. I hear ya that it's busy, but that's just Shinkawa really going for it this time. >>715694050They gate what objects appear in your world based on main quest progression but they do populate sections of road if you unlocked an area that's developed before you got to it yourself. All three starting pavers were finished once I got the Governor's surrounding area plugged in. I personally contributed to the next four sections in both directions all by myself before any of those players who previously paved got around to them. My name was the only porter on maybe 1/3 of all my roads, if not more. As stated before the NPCs contribute building supplies automatically as you increase strand connections in their area. Pizza chef took credit for the road running past the ceramics western mine and I know I was the one who put 99% of the mats in.

300hours report. Jump ramps rule, zip lines drool. Are the BTs a joke to Kojima?
The best BT experience i've had was after taking a nap in what i didn't know was a BT area. I woke up surrounded with no weapons. It was indeed terrifying and when i made it out, i felt like i had triumphed over the BTs. When i confidently walk forward brandishing a grenade it doesn't feel like triumph it feels like farming. I can't call this gameplay thought out.
I have the goal to one day mine enough materials to ride a fully wagoned monorail.
The map has shrunk in size or maybe it didn't but there's just less in it. I'm waiting for a patch to arrive and..do something. DS1 had a patch to add photomode and few features. Dollman please shut up. My final waifu shall be the cute dowser (possibly pajeet fucker). I would really prefer to rewatch the cutscenes inside of the game's room and not on youtube, the final act was frankly entertaining, not deep but lets all be glad it's not a lore dump with the dramatic blue man again. I've found the best way to travel the mountains on foot wasn't to trudge through the valleys but to climb and route along the spines, the rocks of the ridges are completely designed to be traversed. All in all these mounts are better than in the first game with how much steeper the slopes are and i will hold youuh and protect you ouhou, so let love warm youuuu till the mo oho orningAH GOOD GOD

The thread survived the night. Cool.

>>715698315It's amazing how much of a difference the day night cycle made to making the world feel a lot more alive. My personal gripe is the corralled content now really altering throughout the solar cycle. If it's dark, I want there to be greater chances of enemies popping up in unexpected ways. Maybe there's a brigand hunting party moving between their camps? Maybe BTs wander off from their normal haunt and scares you where you were expecting a safe route. There's simply no surprises anymore after the map is laid out for you and I'm begging Kojima to add some kind of randomness to the encounters.

how does shared world roads/monorail buildings go? It feels like I've been building all of my own fucking roads and no one ever contributes. I'm connected to the strand network and online so I don't get it
>went nearly entire game not realizing roads could be upgraded so that you go faster when boosting and have a timefall roof
>start arduous process of upgrading them all to level 2
>speed boost only works when boosting, which means autodrive is still slow as shit
>no SSS post, trophy or acknowledgement in ANY WAY when completing the entire road network, level 1 or 2
I also loved building that shit, but really weird that they have multiple acknowledgements of the rail network being built up, including fully completed, but fucking nothing for the roads. I also went the ENTIRE game without realizing that you could zipline across the rail network, which is the same speed as the monorail itself. Absolute game changer setting up ziplines to connect to the rails so you can just zip around the entire map with careful planning and setup.
Sad they kind of pussied out on the on-foot deliveries and made pretty much every terrain vehicle friendly.
There is absolutely NO reason to get out of your vehicle in this game.
>>715680537Bretty sure you can replay the boss levels by selecting the figures in the private room.
>>715694496Kojima said in an interview that he wanted players to know that even when they're playing alone they're still "connected" to others. I think he achieved that. It feels really good to put down an structure and get hundreds of likes the next time you log in. It's a reminder that you left a kind of "legacy" behind that benefits others.

RUE THE DAY YOU WERE BORN
Imagine how much bigger the map could be if Kojima stopped wasting resources on mocapping and animating cutscenes, instead just had his team dedicate their hours to world building. Just give me DLC of new continents, zero story, zero dialogue, just have your team purely work on the world so I can do more comfy hikes.

>>715717725Shameful display. Even though the terrain is steeper, taller and craggier than ever. It goes for walking too. Yeah putting down a rope down this cliff would be faster but there invariably is a nice smooth slope around it 10m to the left.
Remember DS1. The weather station, it was a long detour either way if you didn't want to use a ladder. The mechanic/film maker plain could be a bitch even on foot. The mountaineer was faster to reach the hard way.
They pussied out. At one point if a player doesn't want to play the game they he fucking shouldn't. How am i supposed to devastate the environment and dominate the terrain if the terrain fucks easy.
>>715725839I didn't like it, it hit too close. The perpetually uncomfortable man enters the girl's room and they're having normal fun together, he cracks a joke and they look at each other silently in that way "did he really just say that, what are we gonna do?".
I wanted more of these skits anyway. The DHV Magellan didn't feel like home, there wasn't enough material for it and i couldn't even tell who Sam was supposed to be. It started to feel like the game was putting me back into a prison cell until the speaker voice told me get to work.

I assumed it could've been you know who because he was insistent on not voicing as any of the other characters at the start via charlie. I kinda had it soft confirmed when in my private bunk; I heard him whispering something to Sam in a creepy voice. Doll man was talking at the time so I couldn't isolate the sound and considered it might be Higgs fucking with Sam. I now know that voice really was Diehardman whispering to him through the air vents.

DS1 was piss easy, you couldn't walk for two minutes before tripping over your next outpost, the weather station you're referring to was right next to the previous outpost. DS2's world just seems less forgiving because you're familiar with the mechanics.

>>715740767Calm down i knew DS1 pathfinding wasn't much a problem but DS2 is even less of a problem than that.
>>715740937So that's the name of that thing.
>>715740957I feel like if DS2 was a Mexico DLC like originally intended it would've been harder, a challenge mode for the original game, but because it's a new game, everything was toned down and simplified to be more approachable.

>>715733927That's the point of his character. He's a massive anti-social autist that just wants his child back so he can go back to living in isolation after connecting the world. Here i don't get him anymore. He's not supposed to be an actual retard.

>>715740767>The revisionist history on DS1 is insaneIt really is. Kojima mindbroke people with DS1. You have people like Skillup saying shit like "you just shoot bts with guns now" as if you couldn't just shoot them before. "You never have to use ladders!" they say, as if you absolutely had to use them in the first game. "You can skip the game with the truck!" Even though tons of people said the same things about trucks and ziplines for DS1. I have never seen this happen with any other game. DS2 is easier but not by that much. I would say it's generally better balanced/paced and less clunky which makes it feel easier.

>>715694640>Samson HookFor me it's the phantom smith.
>>715742167The asynchronous multiplayer is definitely faked to some degree in order to prevent everything just being built for you. DS1 was the same way. You can contribute stuff to roads and other online structures and shortly after suddenly a bunch of other contributions flood in.

>>715740463I honestly did not take more than a couple of photos. Thankfully they let you do that in the postgame. No idea if Die Hard will show up there afterwards.
what determines what structures you see in your world? Iโve had to basically single-handedly build the monorails on my map, and I decided to build a zip line highway across the map because I noticed there were several random zip lines with no connections for some reason
>>715743359they're just random unless you make a strand contract.
>>715742356What are the chances of getting a Half-Life crossover in DS2?
>>715741446 Yeah, he's a BB, but not just any BB. Samโs technically a โrepatriate,โ which makes him kind of a super-BB that grew up. He was used in some horrific experiment as a baby by Clifford (who didn't even know the kid was his own son), and then straight-up died during that bridge incident as a BB. But because of Amelie and DOOMS and whatever the fuck quantum beach science Kojima cooked up, he got revived. Thatโs why he has that death mark on his stomach and can come back to life Ghost Rider style. So yeah, Sam is literally what happens when a BB lives past the tank stage. Walking trauma generator.
>>715686308I pity the zoomer that refuses to find something fun for themselves
>>715742235I'd say the environments, mission design and how BTs are presented in DS1 make the easy solutions less apparent.
It's clear in DS2 that the more laborious ways to do things are pretty much optional, even to a beginner. The games aren't actually that different, but I can see them giving a very different impression to someone who mostly just plays through the story.
I mostly agree with Skillup's review on DS2, but it's clear from his DS1 review how surface level his understanding of that game is
>>7157434790%
DS2 will not get anything extra on PC. Sony would never allow it. 505 Games published DS1 which allowed for the Half Life and Cyberpunk crossovers.
>>715742235Because people only listen to marketing. DS2 is supposed to be the BIG DUMB ACTION SEQUEL that missed the point of the original. It didn't. Every change in DS2 is something that people have been asking for to be fixed or expanded upon.
>>71574347999% chance it will happen for the pc port. Plus Cyberpunk stuff, ultrawide and very hard mode. Just like the pc version of DS1.
>>715684638Horizon is dog outside of graphics. Don't do that
>>715743820No. Sony would never allow it. Extra stuff exclusive to PC? No way.
>>715743359I think it does matter who you're connecting with. There's a backpack charm ingame that alters your chances of matchmaking with actually decent porters that engage with bridge links. Sometimes you luck out, other times it's nothing but these jugheads.
>>715689227 What I'm struggling with is getting bridge links from people that like-dump my stuff, but they refuse to build anything that I can comment on. Unfortunately the game won't show you structures you haven't already populated into your world. There's even a possibility I have old inactive contracts and connection structures stinking up the world while all the new porter I meet can't get theirs to show up because they built in the same spots as others. But it's more likely there's people that build and never comment plus people who just don't make anything but repay with their kindness. Either way, it's fucking up my max connection chances, and I don't like it.
I do see drop in at times of structures. Like I drove up to a river and one spookily appeared just before me at the crossing. So it does matchmake as you move between zones.
>>715670437 (OP)In my games the highway rarely made it as far as the distribution center between lake and south knot cities. I'd use that stretch and contribute a little to bring it further but I like walking too much to focus on road building
>>715743814It didn't fix the things I was hoping for the most, which are more thought behind standard delivery design (it's the same, mostly brainless), more dangerous enemies that pose an actual threat (they're the same, both humans and BTs) and vehicles requiring more thought (they're the same).
Especially the enemy AI still being as weak as it is just baffles me

Why don't the mission grades matter for main orders? Why didn't I get anything special for non-lethal takedown of Vana?
>>715746236My guess is that Kojima went super safe with grading after the abysmal grading system in MGSV
>>715746236>Why don't the mission grades matter for main orders?Because anybody is supposed to be able to complete the story.
>>715742235>I would say it's generally better balanced/paced and less clunky which makes it feel easier.I'm still only about halfway through the game but it feels like there are a lot less BT encounters. In DS1 most missions you had to avoid them. In DS2 I've only encountered them a couple of times. Most orders are just deliveries without any BT fuckery getting in your way.
Based. Asphalt is the path to where the outer world meets the inner peace you have cultivated, it's a vantage point for the unfolding spectacle of life.
Since DS2 is unlikely to ever receive mods i've devised a self imposed challenge.
It is 3 rules:
โข Shelters don't actually have chiral printers and cannot fabricate items. Only Distro Centers and Fort Knots can fabricate gear for me. They have the clearance to print weapons, porter gear.
โข The DHV Magellan can store gear but not make any. Its storage is limited to 60 items per type (two tabs worth "weapons 1 - weapons 2" to minimize endless scrolling.
If i look a the Magellan's schematic there can't be that much room for storage considering the entire back of the ship must be taken by the propulsion, life support systems could be mainly housed below the quarter deck and both flanks are occupied by two large intake ducts in a V shape connected to the engines. The vehicle hangar stores vehicles and contaminated raw materials, the rooms on the bridge deck store maintenance supplies (the engine room is accessed via this upper deck), stationery, food (who's the cook?), medical, not Sam's treasure trove. It has to be all located in the Store Room and Armory.
โข What about the materials which accumulate at shelters? It's the prepper's trash generated by the recycling of their day to day activities. It must be taken out at every opportunity in order to stay on top of it.
It makes sense. Porters bring in items and leave with a bit of trash. How else is the waste disposal of these shelters supposed to function? Did you think NPC porters carry pieces of Metals or Resins to repair structures even though they never seem to do that?
This piece of gameplay has the benefit of weighting Sam down on his trips complicating the traversal. Finding tar to sink it into, bringing the garbage back to the distro center, do some illegal dumping behind a rock or use the DHV Magellan if it's parked nearby and i dare say there are some among you who already deduced the name's double meaning. That's right. The DHV Magellan or, to spell it out, Detritus Hauling Vehicle.
>>715745561That would be true if Sony wasn't interested in selling the game which given the mild numbers they should fucking be and I bet they are.
>>715747118That is true. The main story doesn't bring you to bt zones as much as DS1. Instead there's more human camps. I think it makes sense to flip the ratio of humans to bts for sequel because of the chirality thing they're doing and just for variety. Veteran players have conquered bts and normies that dropped the game hated them so I'm not surprised.
>>715748314I guess Kojima did make his game for fucking sissies. The fuck was that? What about all that stuff about changing the game to make it harder? Fucking hack
Here's to the PC release where you will fix all that shit
>>715750494DS1 was literally made for people who could not even beat Pacman. Kojima does not make challenging games. But somehow people keep expecting the difficulty of some janky Stalker mod.
>>715750937There is no excuse for the difficulty level called Brutal not actually being challenging at all
All this talk about roads while we should talk about trains. They're expansive to build as well and they increase the infrastructure feel of the world. Balanced fast travel that looks cool, good for gameplay and good for aesthetic. Win-win it's an excellent addition. Though how am i suppose to spend 42.000 units of Metals?
>>715742235I just played DS for the first time and once I unlocked the motorcycle I used it for pretty much all the deliveries. Reviews and especially this piece of shit board made it sound like the game forced you to walk for hours on each delivery, but with motorcycles most missions could be done in about ten minutes.
Even walking the game wasn't hard once you understand the mechanics, except for the snow mountain. The real issue was the first few hours being essentially a tutorial and an excruciatingly slow one at that.
>>715746676>we added very easy mode because we have real actors this timeAnd MGSV didn't?
Even going back as far as the first MGS it's a bit rude to imply that the voice actors aren't "real actors".
>>715751510>Reviews and especially this piece of shit board made it sound like the game forced you to walk for hours on each deliveryBiggest hindrance to the game was that "walking simulator" meme. Many people are only playing for the first time right now because of all the buzz of the sequel, which prompted them to take another check. Another thing is the combat, which is present, so all the allegations that the game doesn't have any action are fucking muted and a sign that these people haven't played it at all. SAD
>>715751871I think the game would've been better without any combat. At the end it got too MGS-like with all the focus on combat and the entire purpose was to "bring people together" rather than fighting. Also the penalty for killing MULEs was very small.
>>715752083>Also the penalty for killing MULEs was very smallThis. And it's pointless. It doesn't even remove them from the map, they come back just as if you knocked them out and all you do is lose like 20000 likes or have to bring the bodies to the incinerator.
>>715752083>I think the game would've been better without any combat. For you or me, who could survive on just the deliveries, but you gotta throw a bone for the normies out there otherwise DS wouldn't sell for shit

DS2 ANONS, give it to me straight. What little I've accidentally been exposed to just shows niggers shooting. Did they fuck up the comfy vibes of DS2 and it is much more action focused or can I still plan my route around people and/or run my ass off to get away still? I don't want Death Stranding to shift from old RE to RE6.
>>715754536It's mostly package delivery, but there's a lot more character interaction. You have a companion who quips occasionally now.
Finished it last night. Really disliked the Higgs fight, it starts as a worse rehash of Vulcan Raven/The Fury and then just rips off the MGS4 Ocelot fight with a bunch of unfunny Japanese comedy shoehorned in.
On the whole I'm a bit mixed on DS2. It streamlines the original a lot and is more playable in the moment but as a result slips more into sub-Metal Gear territory, which sort of defeats the point of why the original was special: it was a weird AAA pseudo-art game not just MGS6
>>715753534. Story-wise yeah fine, it's typical modern Kojima with some brilliant stuff in there crammed together with some incoherent nonsense.

Okay so talking bridge links, I noticed that updates to the server occur when you exit a shelter and step into the open world once more. There's a readout of things that recently occurred while you were away, illustrated beautifully here
>>715691107So once the total like payout is dispensed, you're connected. You will encounter new and discovered objects, any interactions with such by way of use or likes will then refresh the Bridge Links contracts list, sorted Newest > Oldest and gives you a very limited interaction log from that point forward.
Okay so observations that I've made: after a certain update, there was a possibility of interacting with a sign, liking it, then previously loading to an earlier save just nearby that sign, and no matter if you had seen it before or it was new, the thing vanishes on the reload. Does that porter in this scenario still get the 500+ likes I smashed into their structure or by reloading my earlier save, it erases the tie I just made and punishes and or corrects that behavior with granting opportunities to anyone else.
I also wonder if you load a game, get out of the shelter, the likes are dispensed, you drive off the lot and blow your cargo sky high because of a mistake, reload your earlier save and... those likes are now dust in the wind and will never get recorded as received in the logs? That's what I presume what happens anyways, but I haven't confirmed it.
Anyone else notice any more SSS Bridge Link quirks and or know exactly the saves are handled between network uplinks?
>>715763392>Kojima has mentioned he's kinda done with games after his xbox one he's making. He said he will never stop working. Meaning auto-pavers are exempt from the no structure sharing rule and i'm at the end of my life. On the plus side i confirmed the local savefile pulls info whenever it loads a section of the outside map so if you want updates you can stay in the hangar, not in your room, and teleport around. I imagine it also uploads your data during this event.

>>715771767Correct, automatically with an everlasting sticky launcher, in duplicate to boot. You can even choose to nab it for your backpack with triangle instead of the truck bed, important so you can equip your own sticky gun you just acquired and fire it to grab another box whilst never leaving the drivers seat or taking your foot off the gas. It hoovers up after enemy engagements or when you stop by the mines for mass cargo lifting. Even though it's auto firing there's a warning sound and the gimbal trains on its target purposely slowly so you can zag to the opposite direction and cancel sticky cannon blowing off. It's a very sticky situation if you can imagine.
>Margaret Qualleys name pops up during the credits
>No voiced lines, just the model from the first game
>>715772330I felt the same. Huge copout. I bet they lost the rights to use her old voice over and only kept the model.
>>715772410It feels like there's a portion of the game missing because Die Hard Man has to explain at length how she fits into the plot.

>>715761903I remember blogposting about some delivery mission that went horribly wrong and some fucking single digit IQ retard shat on me for finding enjoyment on my fucking up, but the simple fact is this game is at its best when you fuck up badly and still manage to push through your horrible odds, even if you set those odds yourself.
>on the tutorial map doing the delivery to Port Knot all the way from the first base >take my trike there because itโs too fucking far away >drive right into a BT and get thrown off my bike and lose like half my cargo>run like hell and leave that cargo behind >reach the distro center on the way to Port Knot>still raining like shit and I still have to go back for the other cargo so I decide to drop off the cargo I do have at the distro where itโs safe from the rain while I go back for the cargo and the bike I lost>sneak back into BT territory and take the cargo and trike back >pick up the other cargo in the distro center then continue my journey >trike runs out of power halfway through the trip>have to continue on foot>yet another BT territory climbing up the mountain>my asscheeks genuinely feel sore from so much clenching >eventually reach the other side of the mountain >see the city on the other side>https://youtu.be/c8MLKuc4Rxc?si=QT2lKq0m0W6TjNhc kicks inThis game is fucking art, man
>>715777705>DS2>have collected deliveries from half the map in my truck>finally start to get close to first delivery location>night time in the snow mountains>wild snow storm appears>literally just dark grey screen, can't see SHIT without scanning>keep going>crash into a random small stone>hazardous cargo explodes inside the truck>"CARGO RUINED:" notifications keep appearing for a minute while i stare in shock>not gonna load game because i'm not a pussy>notice that a few deliveries are somehow still fine>finally muster up the willpower to keep going>still can't see shit>immediately drive off a cliff>the inside of the truck explodes again>everything is fucked>out of sheer frustration, offload every single item from inventory, strip naked, manually walk to nearest distribution center for a fresh start>"Hi Sam, good to see you! Rough weather today, eh?"kino

>>715670437 (OP)personally I hate the roads. I prefer trekking
>>715684638>Horizontoo woke
>>715684638Horizon 2's depiction of Zion National Park was insane. My family has been camping there since the 60's and I genuinely thought Honest Hearts from New Vegas would be as good as it ever got when it came to video game's set there. I'm not the biggest Horizon guy, but the artistry put into depicting real world places, especially national parks, is unparalleled. As generic and checklist as those game's are, they're worth it as open world south western tour game's for sure.
>>715781818Horizon 2's a waste of a good map. Like Ubiworlds. I don't feel like complaining about Death Stranding now that i've had this thought.
Ending.
The whole Lou being his daugther all along is a bit much happy end, BUT now Cliff had a connection to Sam and Lou making his part even better.
>>715778442Hazardous cargo that explodes really get you the first time, that shock came out nowhere, especially with that tinnitus sound it adds.
>personal battery runs out
>eat an electrobiote
>personal battery completely refills
I am playing on brutal difficulty and wondering why this is even possible, because it essentially means that you have unlimited battery power, as electrobiotes are not rare at all.
>>715781408>personally I hate the roads. I prefer trekkingYeah, but you really need the roads to get all of Legend of Legends of Legends ratings, otherwise you will go bonkers.
>>715783883Yes, but Sam eats more than one. Was the same in 1, at the end of the game I was running out of them, because he always chewed down like 7 without me knowing it.
In Japan, Die Hardman was voiced by the same voice actor that Solid Snake and Big Boss have had since the beginning. Can you imagine if they got David Hatter for that role?
>*monotone voice* hnnghh... I loved him... Grr... As much I lover her ngghh...
>hngh... I can't atone for what I've doneeee...
>I have to keep being Die Hardm-aughnghnn...
I hate David Hayter so much it's unreal.

Is the first one good if I play offline and don't want to watch cutscenes and just skip the story?
>>715787324Yeah, but it is much more fun with the online features.
I'd watch the Cliff, Mama and Heartman scenes, but you can skip all of the Diehard-man and Amelie shit.
>building roads in these games are the most satisfying thing ever. i don't even bother with the missions/orders. i just wanna PAVE.
well
>>715789665Whites are born builders and engineers.
>>715789665>>715790297I'm not white and I also enjoyed paving in Death Stranding. Putting the the zip-line and such was also satisfying, if a tad annoying when trying to figure out the proper angle to maximize the distance between two ziplines every now and then.
>>715789665>why do white people want to improve their surroundings and create robust infrastructure for future generationsGee, I dunno Niggle*smack*niqua, why is that the case?
>>715789665Same reasons they conquer mountain summits.
You wouldn't understand.
Why did whites bring hundreds of millions of niggers into their countries? Doesn't sound very smart
>>715789665What i've always wondered is why isn't everyone else like this?
How can you NOT want to build?
Road warriors thread still up. God I'm happy I beat the game so I don't have to feel anxious about being spoiled here.
Gonna get back to my playthrough today. The highway upgrade begins soon, Sam.
>some bridge by the pizza chef that does absolutely nothing has like 8 million likes
>none of my bridges that actually cross a river have any
>my highest liked structure is a zip line I built by the ghost hunter that leads up to one of the scientist ladies
>not a single like for the zip line I put next to the Inventor
>my highest liked โstructureโ is a ladder I put down in one of the crevices by the Distribution Center near the Collector and the MULE camp
>itโs starting to degrade
I try not to think about likes too much. At least I always have the roads to fall back on. My road building has earned me like 300,000 likes so far. Road likes feel like cheating though
>>715783883Speaking of, Chronobiotes are pretty useless, aren't they? Half of the slow-mo is taken up by switching back to an actual weapon.
>>715670437 (OP)Brother you gotta try roadcraft or snowrunner if you like that kind of thing. If you really like to do it at scale and have some degree of autism workers and resources soviet republic is also good. I showed my girlfriend a town I was 'working on' and it was literally a mud road, a few piles of dirt, and some immigrant laborers, but to even get to that point took a lot of effort.
>>715796208Iโve tried Snowrunner. Itโs not the same. You spend half the time in that game winching yourself from tree to tree. I want to load up road building materials on a cargo truck, drive down to the end of the road, then backpack as many supplies as I can carry and walk the rest of the way laying down the road as I go. Mudrunner games donโt have that
>>715793187What's happening is you're building things where already popular structures exist so the popular ones are forcing yours to never appear in your contracts world. I suggest building more and deleting structures that get nothing at all.
>>715793472If you keep playing in that area the people there eventually give you chiral coated ladders, that way you can go lay it down after that one is gone and people who used it might find the gold one. They're impervious to time fall.
