1) women are unironically less willing to start a family than young men, according to surveys
2) the dating market is fucked and women refuse to approach, they are also all on birth control and pills

Moderate. It's entirely in line with Nintendo to start pushing this when they think they can, but it's also very plausible that they were pressured into it and just folded at the first sign of pressure.

I'm a huge cooner who has been into vinnies for many years.i just dropped into this thread to say that in the past games like this were always censored when they got ported from PC to PS/PS2/PSP/PS3/SS/DC/360/Vita and it would be silly to expect there to be no censorship today. That's why the console versions were always called "all ages" version, they would always cut out all kinds and dialogue and cg's, not just sex scenes. It's been the norm for a very long time.
All of that being said, if the censorship today is more than it used to be than yeah it might be related to payment processors but it could also be related to something else like regional ratings boards. Try to investigate into it before throwing around accusations, if you accuse the wrong person too soon than it could ruin whatever kind of movement you want to start and you might not be taken seriously when you pivot your focus to whichever group is responsible.
