There is an argument. Sony, Nintendo and Valve do not care about or respect the rating system when it comes to anime games and fanservice. Having a character design like this, regardless of rating, will get your game censored on Playstation, censored/banned from a western release on Switch, banned from Xbox, and banned from Steam. The Google/Apple stores are just somehow less restrictive and anti-anime than every single legacy storefront nowadays.

Hence this; whatever restrictions are placed on payment processors, they should be placed on major storefronts as well, or this will just happen again whenever one or more of them decides some innocuous Japanese game "damages their brand". Pic related is a set of T-rated games; there is no good fucking reason why they should have gotten this treatment, and I can only assume they're just discriminating against Japanese content when fucking Z/M-rated Cyberpunk can have full blown dicks swinging around on-screen.
