Compile Heart has basically been at a loss since Sony turned on them. They released their last couple of decent to good games in 2020/2021 and have been trying a ridiculous "throw everything at the wall and hope something sticks" approach since to the increasing annoyance of their remaining fans. Their latest releases have almost all been CERO B or even A. A decade ago, the only CERO B game you could find in their catalog was Neptunia Re;Birth 1, every other game of theirs was CERO C or D. They're practically turning into a baby company because they got buckbroke so badly by platform holders. As far as I'm concerned, every other censorship issue in the present day pales to the need to make Sony/Nintendo/Valve pay for their relentless discrimination against Japanese otaku developers. They should not be allowed to get away with this considering their massive market shares, they must be compelled to uphold their clients' free speech rights to the full extent of their capabilities.

It's hard to "adapt" when the very mode of expression that you've built your brand on is what's under attack. Finale completely removed the "purge" minigame that was in the previous two games from all versions (Snoy had previously censored it out of Mary Skelter 2's Asian release via update, which ended up bricking the game). You can tell it was removed late in development because there's still assets for the purge outfits including for the new characters, and no alternative method to remove corruption at base was implemented. Several Blood Maiden's Blood Skelter forms were also slightly altered to be less revealing. Finally, the number of CGs is far less than the other two games and none of them are as spicy as the ones before. Only three "fanservice" CGs in Finale and all three of them are pretty basic and tame. So yes, it was neutered.

They'll probably find a way to just get the uncensored Japanese versions of Switch games to us easier at some point. I heard they already are putting English translations as options in the base games. AI translation will probably make it even easier. A lot of Japanese are aware of groups in the West trying to attack them (although not all of them seem to be aware of which groups just yet). I've seen a lot of adaptations for the western fans they know they have (a good example being Pixiv which basically tells you to use the region setting and change it to Japan to see more art). We'll reach a point eventually where there is an entire second infrastructure for otaku media and normalfags who buy censored shit through bad sources will stick out even more. I'm thinking about importing LoveR Kiss Endless Memories, and the unique special edition sold directly on Dragami Games' website includes two cute plushies as well as two codes for special promo DLC. If you are interested in any kind of fan service, there are some recent consoles games that could be interesting. The new Atelier game this month, the recent release of Scar-Lead Salvation for Xbox Series...even the next Digimon game. Now, I'm not saying that these games are on par with Senran Kagura or even Neptunia, they aren't, those are just games rated T for Teen and simply don't have the level of fanservice as something like Senran Kagura, Omega Labyrinth and School Girl Zombie Hunter, which have higher age ratings, but if one is interested in revealing outfits, jiggle physics and whatnot, some console games still offer fanservice.

I guess if one doesn't want to play gacha games, the only options are games rated T for Teen with some fanservice but not a lot...for the most part.

Gonna be honest Blancposter fanservice would not be saving the latest batch of Compile Heart shovelware. I can get some enjoyment out of their Vita era stuff but even if Scar Lead Salvation had Bullet Girls like clothing destruction it'd still be a horrible game. Hard to say since I don't think there's precedent for that yet. The VN/Eroge patching if you buy from steam isn't quite the same since the original is an 18+ game. So until someone sets precedent we just don't know if that's the case or not. Otherwise we'd need access to the contracts the companies signed but that's not something we have access to.
