That's what every BGS game is. Even daggerfall. Quests are simple errands to go back and forth and probably kill stuff on the way. The fun is getting diverted and finding new stuff. As you said, the world. If you're doing quests one at a time like a checklist it will be boring, yes. I actually prefer modded Skyrim and think it's a way better game than modded Morrowind after enough mods. But i'm playing Morrowind because i'm bored of Skyrim atm and it's good in its own way. I wish Skyrim/Oblivion still had Morrowind's direction-based quest tracking and quest design. It's one of the few things mods can't fix. Skyrim's new-lands mods also mostly suck ass other than Bruma. Nothing compares to how natural TR feels. But other than that, Skyrim blows it out of the water.

Resist magicka does nothing when you can make a couple of 100% 2-3 spells with 40 restoration and equip the meme boots anyway (and that is the only purpose of resist magicka, enemies barely ever use magicka attacks). the enchanter in balmora's mages guild is facing the wall and wont rotate to look at me anymore. this happneed after the fake soulgem quest.
she wouldnt go back up so I left the guild building, waited a day and went back in, and she was just staring at the wall at her usual place.

yeah, but what about NPCs that are supposed to permanently change location due to a quest. Like that guy in the river up north that had his pants stolen and who leaves the river after you help him? If he gets reset then he'll just go back to living in the river for the rest of the game.
Same deal with the naked Nord quest.

Anybody done lua modding on openmw? Are there any non-retarded ways to adjust damage, hit chance, spell chance, and fatigue usage? I've already sort of made it into dark souls combat but lord help me for I have done so many unspeakable hacks.
