Main gripe
>hot and col areas essentially put a flame/ice spell on you but you cannot enchant your way out of it, even with helseths ring providing you 100% protection
Done in the name of immersion, without realizing that the core effects he puts on the PC are essentially in game spells
Either make something new, or stop hiding behind balance and immersion in a game that can be broken on my knees
Shows a lack of effort and thought process, let's see of the mod branches out to include these
Other stuff:
>khajit and argonian and their relation with eating raw meat as beast races not addressed properly
>fur and fur lined armors dont provide more protection in snow, heavy armor doesnt overheat in hot areas
>water doesnt properly affect your in game stats to help you with environmental effects (way too complicated, dont have a beef there)
>food you cook cannot be carried with you, at least there's support for another food mod
>armor protection values make no sense in snowy areas, or in hot areas in some cases, copy pasted values from the og mod, so why work on it?
>no food spoilage (dont have a problem there either, likely unable to code that with current script capabilities of openmw)
Nitpicking now:
>shitty icon indicators in general
>footfag icon for drowsiness
>incomplete icon indicators
>wetness is supposed to play a major effect in the game, yet is excluded from the icons
I havent played the latest iteration, nor have I looked at the mod in a while, so things may have changed
But,
If ashfall is the only reason you play morrowind, there's no reason to switch over to openmw
And if youre desperate for survival mods, wait for supporting mods to fix his mistakes
