Heavily modded Skyrim, Nordic Souls as a base with some armor mods, quest mods, and got rid of Pilgrim because it's just strictly worse and less fun than Wintersun. Also the Experience mod is literally a game changer, wtf I used to think a normal experience based system would ruin the uniqueness of the leveling, but jesus it removes nearly all spamming.

Metroid Dread

Almost beat it. Raven Beak was filtering me last night but might be that I was too tired after all those hours of gaming. Dread is a surprisingly difficult game though. Hardest Metroid imo by far. Harder than even the NES one which was more confusing then incredibly hard.

Another Crab's Treasure. Glad I pirated it because while it is fun (fuck parry on release though, I can riposte consistently now but it's still annoying and dumb) they wait until you are roughly two hours in before you get a pride flag, two different gay male NPCs, a guy calling you an "inshell" for not caring about women or fame and bitching about capitalism. I looked up the dev team and somehow lumberjack hipsterism is apparently still a thing in the pacific northwest.

I pretty much exclusively play solo lobbies in GTA Online, Fallout 4 Survival Mode with a bunch of mods, or Elite Dangerous. I grabbed LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2 for RPCS3 recently too because I find those games fun to play through occasionally. Turning 31 this year. At least half of my game time I end up putting into development of my own amateur dev project (webm related) because I find development and level design to be fun similar to just playing a game. I do have short periods of existential dread where video games and development seem completely pointless but after a refresh I always end up playing or doing something.

I decided to go back to BotW with the SW2 patch because I hadn't played it since TotK came out. Its pretty crazy how much TotK added to the map. I'm still enjoying it a lot, but its a much slower game. Even just traversing large distances is a much bigger undertaking without building materials everywhere. i tried some classic platformers. donkey kong country is quite unforgiving and it makes me wonder how i played it as a kid so much. maybe emulator/lcd/bluetooth lag all add up to make it harder than it should pluse being 34 now certainly adds to slower reaction. it's joever... i do play a lot less in general though, so its also a matter of not giving much fucks about vidya like i used to. i just finished sketching the basics for a black commorant and will decide tomorrow in what style i'll finnish/start finnishing it. possibly pointillism with ink, since i recently discovered that to be fun despite being a major timesink.

The gameplay is fine if you like the genre. The story is kinda generic but carries the game ok, good music. Did some things that were innovative for the time like: 32 items max which prevents hoarding of useless shit, guarding is a vital strategy since it heals 10%, and cursor color changing to indicate how close you are to a random battle. My only real gripe is with the ending cutscenes, it felt rushed with the worst voice acting.

Awesome game, supreme visuals and aesthetic, I wish the game was a bit smoother but since it's pushing the console to its absolute limits I can't really blame the game, more so the hardware.

I DON'T WHAT GAME TO PLAY. I finished Resident Evil Revelations 2 a while back. I started doing some Raid Mode and while it's good, it gets repetitive after a while. I'm also in the middle of a double nuzlocke where I'm allowed to trade between the two games; progress is very slow though. my files in Fire Emblem Conquest and Unicorn Overlord are collecting dust. maybe this is just a me-problem but UO stagnates HARD about 60-80 hours into the game.

I want to play something new, but I don't know what.

I have played every souls series game and sekiro, except for Bloodborne, I have many hours into each game, I have never beaten any of them. Elden Ring is the closest I got, I at least got to the final boss. I'm playing through Stellar Blade and Tainted Grail. I feel like I'm getting close to beating both of them. I expected Tainted Grail to be lengthy but Stellar Blade also has a lot more meat on its bones than I though it would, I believed it would be some 10h max linear action game and that's it.

I think it was a bad idea spending the majority of disk 2 establishing characters only to replace a major one later on. She fucks with the group dynamic.
