1)Castle town before our arrival in ch1 is a derelict school lab that has likely seen no usage after Asriel's generation graduated, which is why all we see there is Ralsei, a cauldron (most likely a lab flask) and all houses are just empty shelves
2)Pacifist is going to be Deltarune's equivalent to Undertale's Genocide where all you're doing by recruiting every NPC is to stuff up a room up with so much junk like a hoarder and you will be punished accordingly so (Susie is going to take the full fault of all that shit though you can be given the option to take some if not ALL of the fault). How toby's going to lay that out is up to him but i thoroughly expect the fifth dark fountain to seal to be Castle Town
3)Ralsei in real life is Kris' sweater, knowing Toriel like the bum she is, Kris is wearing Asriel's clothes when he was a damn kid.

Okay, so this part of the prophecy is clearly talking about Asgore, right? But what if it isn't. The other prophecy panels are about the bosses, who have all been darkners. What if the "flower man" is literally a man who is a flower(Asgore's golden flower to be exact), and being "trapped in asylum" is in reference to the protective glass he's behind? The reason he looks like Asgore is because the man has poured so much of his hopes and dreams into it, it's taken on Asgore's desires as its' own.
Now, there's two ways you could play with that. Either the chapter has you believe the whole time that the flower man IS Asgore, to pull the rug out at the end. Or, the whole conflict of the chapter is that the flower man has Asgore's perfect life, a queen, a kingdom, his council. It builds Asgore's jealousy, eventually causing him to burn down his own garden.

The Asgore flower has Asgore's wedding ring beneath its soil and that ring is the thing that makes the flower itself into a darkner, and likely spread out into the rest of Asgore's shop (the glass could contradict this, but you never know, Gerson's ashes were on an urn and that fucker was moving like Master Roshi)

This is not the game telling (you), the player, that what you are doing is wrong, this is the game laying out the path for Susie to crashout. She is a prime target to a lot of things surrounding her waiting to betray her trust as even after saying that spiel about "i hate those that hide shit from me" is still something Ralsei doesn't respect as he's still hiding shit (nevermind the colossal amount of shit Kris is hiding too) and the cops are now going on her ass too because of that letter being evidence that could frame Susie for the church getting fucked up, which could pin her to Undyne's disappearance.

The likely chance is that Asgore is shackled to a whole conspiracy about proving the dark world exists and that's how he can find Dess and it's not like he's truly crazy. But he does need a lot of good evidence, REAL GOOD EVIDENCE because even if Undyne had already entered a dark world, chances are that in her point of view, she just stepped into the Dreemur household that had zero lights on, nothing much you can prove when you can't see shit compared to how we've seen the dark worlds through the last chapters.

Dark fountains are definitely something only humans can open to the greatest extent that can hit that Darker than Dark spot. I highly doubt Asgore could even attempt to spawn one and even if one could assume that Asgore working under Carol's wing means that he'd get some direct information about the prophecy or the inner workings of a dark fountain (After all, he got a dark shard), then i'm pretty certain he'd have already opened a big dark world before chapter 3 even happened.

Pure speculation but all i can see going on with asgore is that to him, a dark fountain needs a specific item to create one, rather than to pour all of his determination to stab the ground, like the dark world needs a very specific key.

See, I am willing to entertain the idea, but it falls apart when Susie's Dark World was a perfectly twisted mirror to the original, with new Darkeners, the same items, the same dark dollars, the same Ralsei, and even the same rooms.
If it was, say, empty except for Kris and Susie, your idea might have validity, but every Darkner can be recruited, so they can show up at Castle Town later.
They are not sem-Darkners, my friend. They're the real deal, and that implies that Susie, a monster, made a full-on Dark Fountain, and Ralsei corroborates that when questioned. She just was trying so hard for Gerson that she got a different flavor of Dark World.

I think the end will reflect the beginning of the route.
We, as the SOUL, are compared to a pet bird and kept in a birdcage. As a possible Angel, we'd even have feathery wings.
Berdly is a bird and an avid game player. He is frozen in the Dark World and on life support in the Light; he can do nothing in reality and is basically dead in the imaginary realm. You could say snowgraving him is basically a ritual sacrifice to really start the route.
At the end, we'll be frozen like him. The water that is Darkness will freeze and everything will just stay trapped in one moment. You can look, but it'll be static.
