It's Super Mario Odyssey + Breath of the Wild meets Hulk Ultimate Destruction. It's very good so far, it's pretty much the ultimate power fantasy. You play as a big dumb monkey man who has the most insane, overpowered moveset I have ever seen in a 3D platformer. There's a big emphasis on physics-based interactions and highly vertical exploration. The controls are perfect, like actually genuinely perfect. There's a surprising amount of RPG-like elements and it somehow doesn't bog the game down, there's skill trees that give you more, new abilities and moves as the game goes on and gear that does various different things. Turning Bananas into a tangible reward that allows for more upgrades instead of just being a arbitrary progression block like pretty much other 3D platformer is a way better direction to go for. This is the only big budget release I played this year that was even close to being good. Nintendo's main EPD teams are the only people making worth playing right now that aren't indies or retro.

NPCs literally mark it on your map and tell you "Go see our Elder and become zebra." I don't even know how you'd get to the factory, the only entrance is down the cooling tower, and you can only get into the cooling tower by running up the zebra-only staircase.

I played Mario Odyssey for 60 hours and this is probably the same.

Sell the game for 75% of the original cost 2nd hand and its really worth it
