I keep trying to use linux, but it keeps filtering me.
Moving all my disks from NTFS alone looks like a hassle i am not ready for yet, especially considering i cant really back up one of them due to its gigasize, unless theres a direct migration trick i dont know about. I remember somehow mounting my games NTFS drive onto steam once after just installing it and even playing Ricochet, but after a reboot it just refuses to even acknowledge it anymore.
Theres also the matter that the OVPN profiles i used on windows no problem for some reason work like shit on Linux, which i expected to be the opposite. I am cut off from using most stuff i am required to use for work because i cant even download the fucking installer.

I wonder if theres some dummy migration guide for terminal wintards like me.

I thought it was because of the spaces in the name and tried renaming the disk to a simpler name (Disk1) and it still refused.

Unless you are trying to run win11 on a toaster most debloaters will do more harm then good. Wintoys is probably the best tool for getting rid of the junk and most of what it does is just collects all the options already in windows in one place.

now they introduced a new compression algorithm and its erroring updates and download of games that were updated to it
you can use last Vxkex to update Win7 Legacy to Win 10 (current) steam(you can copy paste win 7 legacy and then update it, just make sure you have games and programs in outside steam folder in separate steam library folder) to update and download them
the old client still run games well and you can even use VxKex to run some games that do not run on Win7(not all tho), its only have problems with SOME updating
usually I just update it on Win 10 steam and then play on win7 steam
