Inevitable Excess and Treasure of The Midnight Isles are extra dungeons and challange stuff.

Through the Ashes and The Lord of Nothing are part on and two of a completely separate campaign.

The Last Sarkorians and A Dance of Masks adds stuff directly into the campaign, like new companions and quests etc, those are the important ones.

Though I think every dlc do add new classes and stuff too.

WotR and Rogue Trader are fantastic games. The only "bad" thing about them is that they're so fucking long but there are so many different paths that actually have significant differences in both gameplay and story, and you're looking at at LEAST 100 hours per playthrough which is just fucking insane.
