>overpriced console and games
Same price as a lot of PS5 and Xbox games here in Australia. Also, the console is cheaper than both PS5 and Xbox Series X. It's cheaper than any other PC handheld, except for the 256gb model of the Deck.
>crappy paid online service that doesn’t even allow you to own old games permanently
I've seen one game removed from the NSO app in all my time of playing Switch, and it was a game nobody cared about. You don't get to keep your PSN either if you cancel your sub. And Game Pass... well, you know.
>key cards combine the worst aspects of both physical and digital
Fair point, but I only play digital anyway.
>laughable voice chat feature that’s worse than Discord and locked behind the online service
Never used it but from what I've heard it's fine.
>games that are almost a decade old at this point like BotW still cost the same
Fair point, but Sony games never go on steep sales or permanently reduce the cost either unless you're on PC (master race). Not sure about Xbox.
>speaking of BotW, you have to buy DLC for the Switch 2 version separately if you want it
What kind of point are you making here, exactly? Unless it's because I'm cooked but I don't know what you're talking about kek. You sound like an Indian, but that could also be my fault.
>upgrades to old games that should be free cost extra
Same happened with PS5 and Xbox Series upgrades, and this isn't true for every game. Splatoon 3 and Pokemon got updates for free, among many others.
>Nintendo can brick your console whenever they feel like it
Same can happen to literally any console.
