Biotic Factor. I don't get the appeal at all. A lot of "meh". When the monster appeared that killed the guy after the cafeteria I had no nets. I ran to where the 1 scientist was in the cafeteria to use him as bait but he was ignored. I then ran to the guy in the booth who did nothing. I then ran up the stairs, stabbed the monster to death, and then had to jump to my death to respawn. I lost all interest after. Then again, whenever I see X and Y sensitivity options for my mouse 9/10 the game is not good.

Just get malawarebytes if you need something. Then uninstall every launcher you don't use and set programs to not auto start when you turn it on assuming it's a WinBlows machine. Also make sure your RAM is set to the right speed. Going from 2133mhz to 3600mhz should be possible even on a relatively old shit box.

I think I'm going to lose my job before long because of my mental problems. I'm a diagnosed aspie, been suffering with persistent depressive disorder and OCD for most of my life and suffered constant nerve pain in my right leg since 2023. My ability to manage day to day working life has gone massively downhill since my mother died and I've been on sick leave a ton of times. I don't think any other place will show the same level of leniency that my current employer has, so I think I'm done once I'm eventually let go. Not sure what to do afterwards.

Shit's been getting infected for half my life now on the yearly. Same damn disease. It's gotten to the point where I can identify the instant the infection morphs the tiniest spot of my skin but doctors won't treat it cause it's "too early" so I got to wait for it flare up a bit so the doctors can give me my proper prescriptions.
Weird thing is only now that my friends started talking about it. Then again I got a big scab on cheek near my lower eye lid and another scab that makes it look like I was crying blood. No wonder the delivery ladies who come by my job got scared of my face. Some days I look in the mirror and see to different faces. I don't even own my own face.
In brighter news I'm managed to gain a bit of appetite to eat my potatoes.

The former I'll be starting, but Blue Reflection is a fine sequel so far. If you like the first game, you'll largely feel at home with the second. If you haven't played the first(which you should), it's similar to other Gust games in that there is still some item collecting and creation mechanics, but the battle system is something different all-together. It's a sort of ATB-based system but also real-time. It takes a little getting used to, but it's not hard to pick up.

Without going into too much detail, it's like the first game in how it introduces and explores characters. If you don't like character interactions(i.e. reading) and mundane activities, the game probably won't appeal to you as much. If you like the characters, though, it'll be great. It's a lovely game.

I'm just randomly testing different consoles on this new hardware. Install emulator, do basic configuring, test a random ROM, and next. Just to have as an option. I think I'll reach just before whatever gen the 3DS is as I remember Citra being a complete PITA to get to work. I imagine Shitch is too much for integrated graphics.

I've completely forgetten Yasuke was even in this game sinice Naoe seems to be the main focus and the world is designed around her parkour abilities. I've been there. Total isolation, I've made attempts with pills and booze and a noose, and obviously still here. I have MDD and PTSD, so maybe you and I have something in common. What helped me is redirection and faith. Find something outside of the norm that you can get into, make some new friends and try new things. Set your feelings aside as much as you can, because sometimes processing isn't necessary, especially when you are this close, and you just need to do something to to get your footing again.

In some cases, radical acceptance can help. Not that yo failed at life, for example, but that you are unhappy and feel a lost sense of purpose. Okay, you feel that, keep moving and go with something new. Validate your feelings, but leave them aside while you face other things. They will hit and you may need to talk it out with someone like a therapist, someplace structured, but in the meantime, you've beaten this each day you keep going.

The first one, definitely. Second Light has a lot more levity due to the presence of several characters. Hinako was flying solo in the first game. I actually have a pretty strong preference for the first game. It left a very good impression on me, despite its flaws, and Hinako's a fantastic protagonist. Regardless of how other people feel about it, I can't recommend skipping the first game.
