What they did for Pot was that they removed the only interesting mechanic to his gameplay, kara cancels, and to compensate, they made all of his buttons massively better. Much more plus, effective on everything, tons of armor everywhere.
People were happy that he got buffed, but said that losing the karas made him too primitive and removed his personality... Japan listened and gave the karas back.
But that's the only thing they did. No compensatory nerfs. Not even a single buff reverted.
And so you have modern Pot. A ball of rape that powers through everything as long as you know how to do the karas that all Pots had to learn for 3 years by now.

Usually zoner/setplay freaks. Also a major factor is whether the character is popular in my local scene. I don't want to play mirrors every time I go to my locals, and I also like to be known as the guy who plays that character.
In UNI I wanted to play Merkava but we have lik 6 Merk players in my scene, so I went with Carmine instead. He's popular online but nobody else at my locals plays him.
