The parry windows aren't hard to find. A big problem with LoP is in how little reaction you get from perfect parrying until they break while Sekiro had satisfying audio and visual feedback. Enemies in Sekiro weren't hitting through you when you perfectly deflected. The animation difference is jarring.
It's also just not satisfying to hold deflect for a third of a second when a simple tap would do. Again, just another clunky design choice that made no sense. Charmless Sekiro on higher NG cycles is punishing yet engaging, reactive, and rewarding.
I didn't struggle at all, but again, I only got past romeo in my longest playthrough because the game is mid. Bloodborne is incredibly easy yes but it's actually fun. My 4070ti super hits 120fps w/ lossless scaling @ 1440p so try again bud. Would still rather play BB on my ps4 pro than LoP

Weapon assembling is already way more advanced than anything From games have to offer. The P-Organ itself offers you to build it however you want as well, and the Legion Arm is also pretty neat. I'm American and white so I can actually afford a computer. It runs flawlessly

I bought the DLC finally and got bored a few hours in. The level design is just too linear and uninteresting, that's the issue all these copycat games have. It's still the best non-From souls game though, and I did enjoy the main game at the time but too much time has passed now and I think im over it.

It's one of the better, more polished Soulslikes but it's still not quite as worthy as From titles.

It's vastly superior in some aspects and inferior in the others.
In terms of combat system, weapon design, enemy design and basically everything that has to do with the mechanical design it blows Fromsoft out of the fucking water. Especially weapon design, fucking try comparing SOTE boss weapons with Overture's.
In terms of story it also completely destroys Fromsoft simply by having an actual narrative to begin with.
But in terms of level design it's strictly inferior to Fromsoft games.
Overall a fantastic game, especially for the first timers.

I'm going through my first playthrough of this and I am enjoying it so far. I'm running the puppet saber and the aegis. Currently fighting the archbishop I like the enemies designs and I think the way you regen health after blocking is really cool.
The one thing that keeps filtering me is red attacks during bosses and stronger enemies. I get that you are supposed to perfect guard those, but the risk seems really high, and I always just end up dodging instead. Bosses have very consistent attacks patterns and everything feels doable after enough practice. I'm having fun.

the biggest complaint i have about this shit game is how every single boss past the halfway mark has, not a second phase, but an entirely different fucking boss battle. they pretend it's a second phase but every single one of them has absolutely nothing in common with the first part. they don't share moves. they don't share themes or attack patterns or anything at fucking all. you're just fighting a completely different boss now, and most of the time they have some obnoxious anime wombo combo that goes on for half an hour (not even talking about arlecapuccino here) that you'll have to spend a while practicing but haha whoops now you gotta pay the phase 1 tax if you want to learn how to do phase 2 tee hee

it's fucking wasting your time, there's nothing else to it. nothing you learn in phase 1 applies to phase 2. you just essentially do two boss fights in a row for the entire second half of the game + dlc.
