Rather than make a dozen different colors, companies made RGB lights that could be any color the customer wanted. To advertise this capability, they showed the components with a rainbow of colors.
For some reason customers bought these and decided they liked the rainbow on the promo images and left it that way.

What's the best program to control them? I've tried MSI Mystic Light but that one doesn't detect my mouse, Signal RGB but it eats a lot of RAM for whatever reason and Open RGB which is a pain in the neck to use, and I just want the RGB to be a set color from boot.
