Enjoyed the Mexican villa on rails shooter. It was sovl, Bennetts story was nice, and Mualani was fun she fit the atmosphere of the event perfectly. Everything else was meh, but the best part of the event. Natlan is finished, can pretend that place was just a bad dream.

It's really bland except for the mexican villa part and the story climax for Benny's personal character story. Nothing else was enjoyable about it. The exploration was horrible, the scenery was just a Natlan expansion and it just generally feels like a tacked on summer event rather than a handcrafted experience like Klee's Archipelago and Simulanka.

The Natlan Story is awful sloppa. I really enjoyed the tournament arc and the war itself but the set-piece just doesn't fit that. The nation of war is a 24/7 all year party where everyone is constantly on spring break. Their visual design is fucking retarded, half of them are using modern gadgets like fucking moto bicycles and roller skates. The pixel art dragon is just fucking dumb and annoying. Kachina is probably the only character next to Citlali and Oron I gave a shit about. The side story about that girl who was kidnapped and forced to pretend to be someone else while slowly losing her memory was a better character drama than anything else in the entire region.

Just compare that and think back to the chasm - that place was amazing without every telling you a lot in dialogue. It was all about presentation and piercing together what you see because you genuinely want to know what lies at the bottom of it. Both of those weapons don't have much synergy with Hu Tao's kit, you're much better using Dragon's Bane if you have it at R5. If you MUST choose between Engulfing or Fractured, the latter is better because it provides Crit Damage.

It would certainly allow you to give the 5* Weapon to someone who makes better use of them. I think Ineffa is the ONLY one who makes full use of her weapon, and since you don't have her maybe you can give it to Hu Tao. Do note that the ONLY benefit it will give you is the 66% Crit Damage Bonus. Even the 20% Atk bonus is meaningless because Hu Tao scales with HP.
If you plan to use Hu Tao with Xingqiu for Vape memes, then Dragon's Bane might be the better choice there.

This is my biggest issue with Natlan, hoenstly. Look at the architecture in Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine. Then look at it in Natlan. The first five nations are all grounded and believable and then there's this odd duck Where everything is fantastical and covered in garish colors and none of it fits the look of the rest of the world. If Teyvat were larger then it might be acceptable, but Genshin is suffering hard from spatial compression so now everything is a day's travel away (if that) so there being no visual cohesion is a serious issue.
