I started playing Story 2 after beating Story/World DS. Now I made sure to trade with myself Digimon that I want to use at the start of the game. I chose Dusk because I found Lunamon cuter than Coronamon but I'm still playing blind with no almost no knowledge from Digimon aside that I learned last game. Nice to see that the menus are faster and I noticed someone made a QoL patch to reduce encounters and increase EXP so I'm using it.

Personally think it fucked up by not having real maps to explore and a real survival loop of food,thirst and emotions to manage. Its a stretch but it shouldve taken pages from survival sims like Mad Island at the least.

Ill give it though that the plot was fairly enjoyable ,more than most of the animes but it really suffered a lot from some of the humans just being psychotic with theorbpartners. Shuuji being a star example and Minoru being another.
