Bad argument. Most game developers are game developers because they ruined their degree. They failed to take a valuable skill like database engineering and instead cashed out on "computer sciences". They are not fit for working on software by major companies. Activision, Ubisoft, and Paradox don't hire engineers who worked on banking software or medical software. They hire people who watched a youtube tutorial on Unreal Engine 5.
